HadToRegister
Yea, I'm on an admin account. I downloaded it on a normal account thinking it'd work. So I have to make another user account to play Skyrim with mods? Just right click the Vortex Icon then check PROPERTIES--------------->COMPATIBILITY and see if the "Run this program as an admin" is checked, if it is, then uncheck it. Does the Vortex Icon have a Blue and Yellow Shield on it?
Soldner726
No, it is not checked and there is no admin shield on the shortcut or .exe
HadToRegister
You set the folders from inside Vortex?
Soldner726
Yes, the folders were all set from inside vortex. I deleted the folders and made them again, it seems to like them now and it allowed me to me set a deployment option.
Tannin42
When there is no deployment method available you should get a notification in the top right. Read it, including the "More" button ("Fix" in 0.17.x). It will tell you what specifically is the problem (look for hardlink deployment, that's the one that matters for the gamebryo games). The staging folder not being on the same drive as the game is the most common one but not the only possible cause for it to fail. If it actually says that hardlink deployment doesn't work because the staging folder isn't on the same drive: _Is_ the game actually in that folder? You posted "The path to Skyrim SE is E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition" but for all we know you may have used a tool like Steam Mover or manually set up junction points. In this case the game may not actually be on that drive, "E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition" might just be a link.
