Kel1978
Here's what I'm trying to do. I would like to have vortex manage another separate SSE installation folder for the purposes of mod creation and testing. I'm just starting out and don't want to mess up my main installation. Does anybody have any ideas?
HadToRegister
Yea, use the PROFILE management built into Vortex in order to experiment with different mod setups and experimentation.(Can't post a screenshot for some reason)
dizietemblesssma
I don't think the profile can have a diifferent installation location, which is what I think the OP was after. Although of course profiles may well actually solve their problem. I tried a while back to have both the steam and gog versions of FONV installed but vortex insisted on only finding one of them, which is fair enough I guess. HadToRegister
Profiles would free them from having to have multiple installations of the same game.I have 198 Mods in the first profile and 0 mods in the second profile
Kel1978
I'll give profiles a try and see how it is.

Kel1978
I tried it and I see all the addons that ive installed on the other profile but are not activated. That's not exactly what I want. In the end I just created a new user account on my computer and use that for testing mods.
