For some reason I'm getting infinite loading screens. No CTD issues just infinite loading and can't figure out why exactly. Seems to happen when I start a new game where the engine just seems to stall or something once I leave the abandon prison through alternate start. Doesn't happen all the time but enough where I'd like to address it. I included my load order if needed and it's been sorted by Vortex/Loot other then a few custom rules put in place for things like Palaces and such. My plugin count is at 291 but 55 of them are light masters.

You have a lot of SCRIPT HEAVY mods, which was already noted.

Plus - I see some mods that seem to duplicate " conditions " - Armor - Faces - NPC Changes and such. Did you make 100% sure that your mods are compatible with each other?

Recently, 1 post a good few weeks ago, had multiple armor changes, multiple NPC changes and so on. Sure enough, they had no small compatibility issue that caused LOAD Errors, CTD when the game did load and so on.

The thing to check on your mods is NOT just the Description page, but go to the Mod Forum Posts and Bugs and read carefully. Sometimes you see posts and such that " ring a bell ".

Out of curiosity, is your HDT-SMP / SKSE set up correct and up to date? And I'm also curious what c CBBE.esp is. The current CBBE is an ESL.

Have you yourself changed any mods to ESL or ESL space? If you did - did you first run them through SSEEdit to see what kind of change you could make? Some may fit ESL space, some require full Creation Kit processing, some will not be suitable for changing.

It does look a heavy load order. Usually the rule is to keep down the mods that affect lots of cells, navmeshes and inventory changes because combining these loads the game a lot. Adding lots of NPCs, making perk changes, lots of cell changes, overloads the game, especially with scripting thrown in.

What's your string count in your save game?

Just some thoughts.

I'm kind of parroting what the others in this thread have already said, but check that all of your mods are fully updated. I had ILS issues for a while until I found out that one of the version-dependent mods I use (SSE Fixes) was outdated. Fixing that resolved my problem. Have your mod manager check for mod updates, and then check the nexus pages of any mods that aren't associated with .esp's (like FNIS, SSE Fixes, SKSE inis, etc.).

i am going to assume it is Verdant that is causing the occasional ILS, simply because it is resource intensive, i also had ILS, however upon removing said mod, as well as Skyrim flora overhaul trees, the ILS has disappeared.

grass overhaul mods and mods that add many trees will be very performance intensive (especially if they are setup to cast shadows), which will in turn greatly increase loading times, which in itself can cause ILS, based on insufficient memory, these types of mods are very memory hungry.

throw in ENBs on top of that, and you will very likely run into loading issues

best thing to do is get rid of Verdant, and get a more performance friendly alternative.
