Does anyone even use the Mod Request section?

I tried messaging the original author asking if he could about a week ago (I think) but I haven't gotten any responce.

Well I can't really port it without permission. I could see about recreating it though

It's being used, just not in the frequency that one might be expecting. Modders are always looking/thinking on ideas that can change the game in some way, and often times, requests could be something that turns on a light bulb.

Also attitude matters when making a request. I know at least 3 that were made based off a request but the authors didn't comment on the thread because the user was rude. And many others were made from inspiration from user requests even though they don't always fit what was requested.

No I made mods for myself numerous times. The ones currently on the site though are all made for people who requested them or were ports that were requested here. I wasn't joking.

I'm wondering if alternative communications via various social media (Discord and such) might also be causing people to use the Mod Request section (and perhaps forums in general) less often.
