ThelebKaarna
"Core", "Dispersed", "High Priority Overrides", etc all showing up, just the "Default" group missing. Screenshot I've tried restarting Vortex, verifying "Default" is still listed in the "Manage Groups" flowchart (it is), toggling the "Group" column header, selecting other headers then going back to "Group", etc, everything I can think of. Thinking this issue just started with the latest Vortex update, but I'm not 100% sure of this. Suggestions?
HadToRegister
I'm going to guess that the reason it's 'missing' is to speed up Vortex by not having a ton of DEFAULT listed, which also makes the list much easier to read, if the DEFAULT group stays invisible.Plus, not seeing anything in the list where DEFAULT used to be, let's you know even quicker that something is in the Default Group because they're now easier to spot.Much easier to see this_____________________Low Priority OverridesHigh Priority OverridesLate Loaders_____________________Than THISLow Priority OverridesDefault GroupHigh Priority OverridesDefault GroupDefault GroupDefault GroupLate LoadersDefault Group
ThelebKaarna
I like the logic and definitely agree it's easier to visually navigate. Just wanting to be sure it's not a bug (didn't see it listed in the changelog). So you're seeing the same thing in your install of Vortex then? Yes, "default" stopped showing up in 0.17.3 for me.I was wondering why my list looked so uncluttered.Definitely makes it much easier to see what needs a group and what doesn't Definitely unclutters the list
ThelebKaarna
Good deal! And I like the improvement. Thanks HTR for the confirmation. Appreciate it. Cheers! case closed/
AugustaCalidia
HadToRegister's explanation about the missing Default entries in the Group column is spot on, in my opinion. In fact, earlier today I had seen the empty group column and figured it was the new default look. (Is that a bad pun, or what?) Interestingly enough, in my main Fallout 4 profile, I have two plugins that are explicitly listed as Default, whereas all the others in the Default group are identified by a blank space in the Group column. When I look at the plugin details pane for the latter plugins, I see that their Group boxes are empty. However, when I look at the plugin details pane for each of the two plugins explicitly designated Default, I see the Group box is filled in as Default. My guess is that sometime in the long ago I specifically assigned these two plugins to the Default group. The two plugins show up as Default precisely because I filled in the box, not Vortex. I suspect this is how Vortex notifies me of my intervention in the plugin sorting process.

And your pun made me lol=)
ThelebKaarna
"Default" seems to have reappeared in the "Group" Column with the latest v0.17.5 Vortex update. Think I like it better when it was hidden... now seems more cluttered to me by comparison.

I'd like to see "default" go back to being invisible as well, it made for easy reading
