Vortex logs in correctly, but web browser doesn't think vortex is installed, and will not let vortex download mods

Logged in via the Vortex application, which opened the browser and everything worked as usual, but when navigating to a mod page, the Install Vortex button still exists at the top of page, and it's as if it doesnt recognize that vortex is installed.

That's not a bug or an issue, and it's nothing to report about.

I still have the INSTALL VORTEX button showing on the website as well.

Back when NMM was the mod manager, the INSTALL NMM button would show at the top of the pages.

I also have a lifetime membership, and on certain parts of the website I see prompts to get a Premium Membership

It's nothing to worry about.

But you need to do this in order to download using Vortex.

Basic settings 101

Actually, the above pointed out by HadToRegister should not be necessary any longer, as Vortex should associate itself with NXM links automatically now as soon as it is launched.

What exactly do you mean by "will not let vortex download mods"?

Seeing the "Install Vortex" button at the top of the page is normal. It is not meant to disappear just because you have installed Vortex.
