FancyG3ntl3man
So, I recently installed Vortex, mainly to mod The Sims 3. I modded the game, I broke my game, probably my own fault, it didn't launch. After that, I went back to playing Fallout New Vegas. I then tried to install some mods, and they installed to Vortex instead of NMM, like I wanted them to. I thought nothing of it and launched my Fallout, only to be met by missing textures, my menus broken, and a crash after about 2 minutes. I then messed with my Vortex for around 3 hours, I finally fixed it and uninstalled Vortex. Now when I try to install mods from The Nexus it tries to install them to Vortex, how do I change it back to installing to NMM?

FancyG3ntl3man
By going into SETTINGS and changing this (Run as administrator) That's already checked, and it still tries to install the mods to Vortex, which was uninstalled.

Then TURN IT OFF it in Vortex.Turn OFF that "Handle Mod Manager Download" in Vortex.Close Vortex Then open NMM as Administratoruncheck it in NMM,close NMM,reopen NMM,Check it in NMM and try again.Sometimes it takes a couple of tries to get it to stick
