Bah. You kids and your silly guns.

Nothing beats Brick's "Fists o' Fury" with an incendiary artifact attached, and the cool down lessened to about 6 seconds.

It's especially fun if you're playing with someone else in the same room; the first time I did it, my buddy started laughing uncontrollably.

I hope the ammo regeneration mods are more widely available in the second. That was the one reason I played Roland instead of Mordecai (My favourite class).

Just buy a Jacobs. You could kill 72 people without having to buy ammo! (If it took more than one shot...)

why does ammo regen even matter? there was SO much ammo on the ground and loot chests and whatnot, i hardly ever ran out of ammo on my sniper (the weapon i used the most because Mordecai was my main toon)

'Same. Measure twice shoot once. I often topped-out when I encountered a vendor, but as a CR user, I never had ammo trouble.

With SMG and assault rifle, it was possible to still run out at some of those busy spots, and more often on second and third playthroughs due to increased spawn counts. Even automatic pistols and shotguns could get tight on ammo at certain points early on. First time I fought those guardians inside the cave in the second map I ended up blowing through almost all my ammo just because I didn't have anything particularly good against shields at that point.
