Valve tried that with Portal 2, but it just didn't work out. PC controls have a huge advantage over consoles because of how much more precision you can get with it. Trade might be an option, but combat is probably right out.

its all preference. people who are used to console controls can be just as accurate as any PC player with a mouse. me for example, i tried playing ME2 in PC, and couldnt get a headshot to save my life (pun?) but do it all day on Ps3. cause i suck with a mouse cause im not used to it, for those kinds of games that is.

 

but cross platform like Ps3 with 360 will never happen. they are enemies :P

I disagree, I'm a slightly better shot with a gamepad, but the difference is really marginal. The only noticeable difference is with driving-the difference is enormous.

I can shoot twice as good with a controller maxed out sensitivity then any pc mouse lol. Mouses seem to unstable when precise shooting, especially with my nerves lol.. Dang it ?? i moved... http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/teehee.gif

Borderlands 2 is one of the games I'm looking forward to. I hope its at least as good as Borderlands, or I will be disappointed.

Finally an excuse to actually play a game! I was completely addicted to the first one and this just looks better all round so I will be disappearing for a while when this comes out :tongue:

 

I just hope they got they got rid of those pointless eridian weapons, or at least beefed them up.

i think youll find this game will be even better then borderlands 2. it will have some changes. might take a little bit to get used to said changes and maybe even at first some people wont like the changes, but i think we will find in the end, the changes were good and the game is even better then the first.

i loved the Eridian Shotgun. when you got your Eridian gun skill up to max (or just high) they actually became kind of fun and useful, especially the shotgun. would just melt enemies away in seconds.
