I kind of just stumbled on the vortex.exe and double clicked it... I don't even know if that's what you do. Arneercool Posted March 10, 2019 Share Posted March 10, 2019 Do not under any circumstance install that .dll if you not got it directly from microsoft somehow. That .dll is shared by many programs and is a softspot for exploitation. You are probably better off re-installing windows at this point. This could be caused by everything from virus, buggy printer, or you . Be careful. Edit. look into sfc scan, or how to re-register node.dll via administrator commandpromt. Vortex is an application, with an installer, that you should be downloading from the official source which is https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/1That installer then installs everything you need to run Vortex, including the node.dll.
