Accidentally forgot to make copy of previous game and FO4 just updated. SK won't work with new until it's updated. Need the steam address to the last version. Thanks

Update: Found the tutorial that shows rollback. Can be used for any steam game.

Now have things back the way I want them. And won't forget again. Thanks for replies. Issue resolved.

just as above to fix it takes 1 minute

add "-console" to your steam shortcut without quotation marks

Tab shows up when you start steam called "console"

click it and type "download_depot 377160 377162 1401000909695431634" without quotation marks

download_depot <appid> <fileid> <version>

It will download the old file from steam and just replace the new one with old

Steam doesn't have interface to download old files all is through commandline

It works, I hit the wrong button and started the update so I followed the instructions in the video and I reverted my game to the previous version. I'll update when the F4SE mods have been updated to the new version.

OK, I followed the above video and went through the motions. But I can't make steam recognize the console. Whenever I try to change the path (-console) as Hexi describes I get the message that I need admin rights to make changes. Klicking OK doesn't solve the issue. It says "access denied". The path in the shortcut features the new entry, but the client still doesn't feature the header "console".

You may need to launch steam as an admin to get it to work. Right-click on the shortcut and there should be a "Run As Administrator" choice. In Win7 at least.
