Do "Skyrim" Mods Work With "Skyrim SE"?

So I just recently got into modded Skyrim (late, i know) and I was looking through mods and downloaded a lot that I liked. However I just realized that they are marked for "Skyrim". If I move them to "Skyrim SE" in Vortex, will they still work?

If no: how will I know which ones do/don't? Or will I have to delete all of them and find their "Skyrim SE" counterparts?

To Understand what i have Written Below: First Part = Type of Mod, Second Part Explains if they will work in Skyrim SE:

Textures: Yes for the most part (if they do not include cubemaps of any sort, they will work out of the box), however if they include cubemaps of any sort, they will need to be compressed to Skyrim SE Standard (Which i Believe is BC7) <-- failing to do this will result in CTDs, when inspecting these items

Note: Textures that include Parallax will not work at all. Skyrim SE Does Not Support Parallax

Meshes: Not out of the box, they will need to be optimized using SSE Nif Optimizer <-- failing to do this will result in CTDs.

ESP: They Will need to be converted to Form 44 (Using the Skyrim SE Creation Kit)

Bodyslide Files: Will need to be Redone for Skyrim SE CBBE

CBBE Mods: See Meshes and Textures above

Note: Oldrim CBBE Armor and Clothing mods that include the Reference Body, will work on Skyrim SE, but it will not Match Skyrim SE CBBE which is far suprior, so just bare that in mind, Skyrim SE CBBE is very different to Oldrim CBBE, it has more polygons, which results in far more Detail.

SKSE Plugins: Most Plugins will need to be remade for SKSE64, so out of the box, these mods will not work, until properly converted to SKSE64

HDT System (Highheels, SMP, Hair): is not Currently available Publicly (Relatively Speaking, it can be downloaded by the public, but it is only on the Author Site, which is a chinese site that requires users to login, it is in beta state as well, and does have its problems, hence the Beta State), but it does exist for Skyrim SE, however i strongly advise against it, as it is very buggy from what i have read, not too mention that from personal experience in Oldrim, i had a lot of problems with HDT System. in other words you will need to jump through loops to get it, and the end result will not be desirable, so with that notion, Any Mod that Requires the HDT System for oldrim, will not work on Skyrim SE. Also HDT System Requires SKSE64, which has only just updated today, so you will still need to wait for Hydrogen to update her mod, for the Latest verison of SKSE64

So with that Said If the mod you are using includes High Heels, it will need to Support Ni-Override (Racemenu's own High Heel System) <-- if the mod does support NI-Override, or simply does not Require HDT High Heels then the mod Will Work in Skyrim SE (providing it consists with what i wrote above: Textures, Meshes and Bodyslide Files Requirements for Skyrim SE).

With that said, Almost all Oldrim mods can be made to work in Skyrim SE, through the method of porting. which includes all of the information mentioned above this line.

Note: Out of the Box means, these mods can be installed to Skyrim SE straight from Oldrim, so in other words they will be plug and play (Meaning these mods Does not Require the user to Port them - wrote this bit To eliminate any potential Confusion)
