Not normal behavior.

Uninstall Vortex and reinstall from a clean nexusmods download.

It it still happens, use the bug reporting mechanism. Upper right three dots on Vortex window.

You are the only one I have seen report this behavior. Some sort of crash / restart loop.

@1ae0bgb8

There was 300plus more exe processes showing before that. I had to remove them to allow me to even get that screenshot and post here.

Ok al try that. This will be fun going to need to remove all the mods then for three games...

When you uninstall Vortex, your Vortex game settings still remain, along with your downloads folder and mod staging folder. (To be safe, though, I would backup these folders.) So there's no need to remove your game mods. Simply purge, uninstall Vortex, reinstall Vortex with a clean Nexusmods download, and then deploy. (You might first try installing over Vortex. If that doesn't work, then uninstall Vortex and reinstall.)

Ok still happening. The *.exe are spamming when downloading and installing the mods. Which so far are for fallout 4. I have reported it via the bug thingy now.

On a Sep note. To save another thread. for the download folder it is not allowing me to use my main drive it says invalid characters am guessing this is cause my username has 2.0 in it. If so I think this should be changed as my game drive is being filled with the mods instead of on the main drive which I had set up with NMM in the past. Any advice on that side plz?

Change the download folder to somewhere else, like C:\Downloads or something instead of the C:\USERS folder
