Swordbreaker925
I'm looking to start new playthroughs of Skyrim and Oblivion. I'd like to completely remove all previous saves (easy enough to do in-game) and remove all traces of all mods. Basically i want to return both games to a state as if i had just installed the game for the first time. I'm noticing, however, that there are lots of leftover plugins in the plugins menu. They're disabled, but it's hard to tell official plugins from unofficial ones, and if they're not being used, i want them gone completely. So my question is, what's the best way to do this? I tried deleting an reinstalling the games through Steam as well as reinstalling Vortex, but no change.
HadToRegister
All you had to do was hit PURGE in Vortex To turn on PURGESETTINGS------>INTERFACE----->Enable Advanced Mode
rmm200
Note: Purge only works for mods installed by Vortex.Mods you installed with NMM or manually, you will have to take more drastic steps.

The CC club plugins will always be in your DATA folder no matter what.Bethesda downloads them to everybody's Data folder, when you purchase them they unlock. It's the stupidest method ever, to deliver content.
AugustaCalidia
Do not worry if you have to do some manual cleaning of your game data folder as a result of CC plugins or leftovers from other mod managers. If you get overzealous and remove something belonging to the vanilla game, you can always go to Steam to verify the integrity of your game files. If something's missing, Steam will replace it. @HTR re CC mods It's the stupidest method ever, to deliver content. Couldn't agree more. I delete CC dontent every time I update. Swordbreaker925
All you had to do was hit PURGE in Vortex To turn on PURGE SETTINGS------>INTERFACE----->Enable Advanced Mode I did that. But there's still loose plugins leftover from mods i've deleted, like weightless ingredients for example. Plugins that arent removed from using the Purge Mods button

HadToRegister
Or, to be really thorough, delete the DATA folder and use steam to Revalidate the files
