joeflint82
I have uninstalled NMM and downloaded Vortex. I have downloaded all my mods fresh, and on the 'Mods' tab they are all showing as 'Installed', but on the 'Dashboard' tab the game shows as 0 active mods. The only game I am doing this for is Skyrim SE. It took me effort to get used to NMM, I don't like change and I'm clearly missing something important that I feel should be more intuitive. Any idea what I need to click?
joeflint82
Apparently downloading and installing the Mods isn't enough.... I've now 'enabled' them. I look forward to finding out that I now need to 'activate', 'illuminate', 'trigger' and 'spark' them. FML that was needlessly contrived.
HadToRegister
For future reference, turn on AUTO DEPLOY.And read the knowledge base and watch the tutorial videos.SETTINGS------>INTERFACE---------->Deploy Mods when enabled (turn this on)
rmm200
A lot of people really don't like to read instructions. For those, you can't beat a good video tutorial.I like the Gopher series:

sopmac45
Those who investigate, search, read and apply, will light up like stars in the Universe ... those who don't, will live in the deep darkness behind the stars !! It is a matter of choice. Period.
