One of those reasons that are considered as a major cause is a third-party antivirus program causing conflicts with executable files and influencing their operations. One the other hand, registries can get corrupted due to malwares and viruses causing the programs to behave abnormally. Sometimes, bad hardware drivers can also be culprit causing this error. CCLeaner can cause this problem.I used to use it too, until I learned about the problems it can causeAdd to the fact that someone in the support forums was having this problem as well and it was CCLeaner that caused it. Already been through all of this, what you quoted is exactly the reason that I did a scan with CCleaner. Regardless, this is a tangent that doesn't really help to solve my issue. I searched this forum using the Windows error and didn't find anything could you post the URL to that thread? Thanks
Guest deleted34304850
what do you get when you run ccleaner and it cleans your registry? do you see a massive performance improvement? i remember when i had it and ran it - it told me my system was "cleaner" than before but i got nothing from it in terms of performance.you're free to continue to use it - of course - but ask yourself why you use it? seriously, its nothing but a placebo.download the new version of vortex and see how you go. it may work for you. I'm a little reluctant, as the last time I did this I wound up having to reinstall all of my mods.... but I'll continue to search and reserve this as a nuclear option.
