ginnyfizz
As it says on the tin. I download a file, go away and play with it as I should, wait a day or more in fact...and when I attempt to endorse it, I am told that I haven't downloaded the file.Seems to have been going on for a day or two now. tetradite
I know I've been receiving endorsements ok, so you could always try endorsing my file just as a check

I had the same problem (with Oblivion mods only), but I checked now and it works for me. Edited August 13, 2012 by kn1ghtfall
ginnyfizz
Still not working for me. AND I can't upload images either.
Beriallord
I had the same problem, so I stopped trying to endorse files. I don't feel like I should have to jump through a hoop just to give a good mod a thumbs up. Makes little sense to me. Its wrong to assume someone is going to remember to go back and try endorsing a file 24 hours later. If what they are looking for is real, dedicated endorsements, and not casual click of the mouse thumbs up after downloading a file, then they have succeeded in achieving that. Dark0ne
There was an issue where downloads weren't being linked to your account that has subsequently been fixed. Any downloads in that time won't have been attributed to your account and you'll need to download the file again if you'd like to endorse it. If a file isn't in your download history then you cannot endorse it. If you don't think the issue has been fixed then please provide some more info (the site you're using, the file you're trying to download, at what time you did it) and I'll troubleshoot it further. ginnyfizz
OK I'll try downloading them again (both were New Vegas Nexus)but one of them is humunguous so it may be some time, and then try to endorse again... The file I was uploading images for was Lunari Race on Skyrim Nexus. I have some images for one of those New Vegas mods too so I'll see what happens after I have redownloaded, before I say anything about those in regards to images. The Lunari I have downloaded several times anyway and still can't get images up on it.
lam0kru0k
I use google's chrome and downloaded a lot from TesNexus and new name OblivionNexus, and so far I have only been able to just endorse 1 mod. I just tried to endorse 'timescale scroll' of which I downloaded yesterday 7pm, yet it says I cannot endorse the file because I did not download it. This has happened many many times before all while waiting a few days and the downloads were in my download browser history. Mostly I forget to endorse them after awhile or just give up trying to in disgust because I can't. I think I will try to download again Timescale Scroll because it is just an esp file, but would hate to have download others that are huge and take several hours like KOTN - Revelation which I haven't tried to endorse yet. lam0kru0k
Alright, I have successfully endorsed Timescale Scroll and KOTN - Revelation now. But am curious to how download history is saved on oblivion.nexus. In past, I was always deleting my download and browsing history on all my browsers, but allowed a few cookie exceptions for some sites only, like tesnexus. Dark0ne
Download history is stored server side, not client side. So you cannot delete your download history from the site :)
