Mudran
I don't know if culture did change in my country after the fall of communism. Before there was always that kind of stupid official pseudo culture, but there was also quite good underground going against all official. But if there was someone talented it was possible for him to create what he wanted - with friends on the right places and with the right confession I guess. But nowadays - I don't like what they offer, it feels as stupid as before, only now instead of copying east they copy west. The best years were in the time between - people had enough of socialistic grey and they tried to be unique, a lot of people were hoping that their dreams will be possible to fulfill just to end up in black reality.Nowadays they don't have money for anything special - so before it was forbidden, now it is without money, esp. with government not allowing higher salaries for ordinary workers. So you will not have enough of people for anything requiring entrance fee or buying products. Or maybe they can - I don't know what is the reality of middle class now. But maybe really middle class is people who want stupid culture. EDIT:But when I did visit England a few years back, I felt almost sorry for those people there - everything around them was private, so I had the feeling that taking a trip and having some adventure didn't exist for them, everything around hobbies or restaurants was overpriced, so the most common scenario was staying home, having fun with TV or doing shopping in local shopping centre - eastern Europe felt so much better with the possibilities of how you wanted to spend your free time. But now it is pricey as well or it is forbidden by laws of EU for the safety. But I don't know how it can influence creativity. Mktavish
The middle can just keep consuming for the consumer economy. Keep future speculation going up.But the reality is it has a curve of diminishing returns.
Deleted54170User
I cannot rise to the next step unless I take it. My bad for not seeing that it was just like the last step and I thought there was a problem again I had to solve. It was solved when I realized I just had to do the same thing again. Instead of taking the next step I wondered what the problem was. I spent the ease of the moment standing there on the step while everyone else walked by climbing the steps. Until someone passed me by a second time. Seeing I had not moved the person moved me. I got hurt during the adjustment because I didn't realize what was happening until I stepped too wide a step and fell of the stairs.

Deleted54170User
It was what I was supposed to do, but I began to doubt I would find what I was hoping for up there. So I stopped. Another bumped into me. I was sitting with this thread open reading when I had the thought. I wrote it down so I wouldn't forget it before it could slip away. I have copied words and pasted them into my book of snips and useful craft materials for creative writing.
Mudran
I got it all wrong. Today I saw a motto by Stephano Baldini: There is a cure which can help us to be more creative, vital and balanced, have better working brain and to be more happy - it is called running. I was enlightened, it looks like no matter how much we squander our creativity, if we keep running, it will be all right. So I was thinking that maybe if all creative workers would connect practical side to it and to save time by start running to their jobs instead of taking bus, we would have the most creative results. Then I spent the rest of my trip to work imagining hundreds of people running to jobs to power up creativity, and jobs full of happy people as result, and the day started quite well for me. More oxygen into the brain and all the other body parts, because of running. Never fails! Of course the extreme is a guy who never stops, he runs all day, he even has it timed so well he can call a pizza shop and tell them where to deliver so he just gets it handed to him as he is passing by. I'm not joking. There really is a guy who was doing that. I say was, because I don't know if he still is, but he got attention for it on the Internet. Now where is that list of really old stories I read on the web kept? That one Google Chrome keeps in our Cloud so we don't have to remember everything we surfed to and saw? Oh! Heck. You're more active and creative, look it up using Google Search writing the words in as many ways as you can creatively word it into, a question until you find that story. Have fun! :teehee:
Mktavish
I can't run anymore because of my disk at L3/L4 .It is degenerated , so has no cushion for the shock of running , and hurts if I attempt to.And also could lead to me needing to get a fusion , whereby my life would be totally changed. Then couldn't do stuff like change out toilets. Basically couldn't make no money. I think I will just baby my back now ... after the discectomy ... that has fixed me to be more mobile after nearly 7 years of low mobility , cuz I was hoping it would heal ( but didn't )And I would advise anybody with a back problem , that a disectomy is an option... you should do it ! ... Which I wish I would have done it back in 2013. But no thanks on the running .... although I did used to run , like the wind ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Whoooosh~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
HeyYou
There are no buses where I live. At least, none that are willing to come and pick me up, and take me to work on a regular basis. And I am most certainly NOT going to run 7 miles to work either. It gets rather cold here in winter, and hot in the summer. Not to mention I couldn't run 7 miles if my life depended on it. I would be lucky to be able to run 70 feet...... Too many health issues. :D
RGMage2
I've got an elliptical trainer in my living room. I used to have it in an empty small bedroom next to the living room and I almost never looked at it - out of sight out of mind. Now it's in the living room I use it all the time. it's great, I can watch music videos on the big screen and crank up the home theater and get some exercise at the same time. I don't know if it makes me more creative, but it does make me feel more energetic.
