Poem for a Friend

Recommended Posts

She wraps her anger round her

Like a many-colored coat.

She thinks it will but warm her

But little does she know…

That no longer will it protect her

It only makes her lame,

Deaf and blind to the caring

That can get her through her pain.

Yet I can not make her let it go

Can not bring her to the light.

Can not make her see the good

With even second sight.

Until then she’ll muddle through

With the fickle and the fae.

And I’ll hold out hope that tomorrow

Will bring a warmer day.

The Druid's Garden is one of the better sections in this forum. Many in here are worth having their works professionally published, some are better than many published writers over there and most knows already as to lead the reader into seeing and/or feeling what they are describing.

I'm a lucky one for being able to know you all, and yet more for being called a friend from LisnPuppy. Thank you my dear friend.
