Download it from Githuib and mess up your load order to your heart's content. https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/releases NMM is far superior from current vortex. lol Vortex shows you mod conflicts, Vortex sorts your load order, NMM doesn't notify you of mod conflicts until it's hard overwriting files, which makes you have to uninstall the mods and reinstall again to get them in the correct order.Vortex lets you just change a simple rule, and it will restore the overwritten files for you, vortex does more than NMM will ever be able to do, and is far more advanced than NMM will ever be.But hey, you keep believing whatever makes you feel good. AugustaCalidia
NMM is far superior from current vortex. If you want a mod manager that is deaf and dumb, then use NMM. If you want a mod manager that talks to you about your mods, then use Vortex. Personally, I prefer a mod manager that talks to me about mod problems rather than one that is mute. Delatroix
People are acting really arrogantly about Vortex. They also keep saying just use NMM, as of a day or two ago, NMM basically just stopped refusing to take in downloads from the Nexus server. I've been a member of this site for a long time, albeit quietly, and have been having my own issues with Vortex. Seems no matter what I try to play now, Fallout 4, Skyrim, Dragons Dogma, it just simply doesn't work. This, amazing program that talks to me, doesn't say it has any issues, or conflicts, says everything is fine, games won't load, they just crash.Has this place always been so useless and toxic when people are clearly having issues? Grow up people.

In describing them, you may find it helpful to use the guidelines found here: How to Request Vortex Support.

Has this place always been so useless and toxic when people are clearly having issues? Grow up people. You say NMM stopped working, have you gone and downloaded the latest version of NMM that features the call for the new API key?If you have, and it doesn't work, have you raised an issue on the Github page for NMM? You then claim to have issues with Vortex. Would you care to describe those issues, in as much detail as possible, preferably without the use of expletives, aggression, homophobic adjectives, and clear of any snark (this includes calling the help that is available here 'useless') towards those few people on here who are always offering helpful and well meaning advice to people who are having issues, and do so without demanding anything in the way of thanks. As Augusta has stated in the post above, open a post detailing your issues with Vortex, and you will be guided, as best as possible, to a useful and hopefully not useless solution that works for you.
