I can't get Vortex to work for two different users on the same computer.

So my sister and I share computer and we each have our own user profile. The problem is, is that Vortex won't work on hers. It just keeps asking if vortex can make changes to the computer, and if she starts the game there are no dlcs or mods. It works fine for me but for her not so much. help will be much appreciated.

Try this: Settings>Vortex>Multi-User Mode>Shared.

i am having the same problem. I have tried everything mentioned here and still not working. However on the other login vortex works just fine BUT not on mine. It just keeps saying vortex is already running. So what do I have to do uninstall everything and start over ? If so I will probably go with another mod manager. At every turn I have problems with Vortex, Way Way to difficult to change the load order when it has to be for some mods.

 

Look, I don't mean to be so negative but I am no programer, I am 62yrs and love Fallout 4, Don't laugh just becouse I am older doesnt mean I have to roll over and play dead, LOL. Anyway, I dont know what to do, I picked Vortex becouse it was to be easier as I still have a hard time with the load order thing. So please anybody that can help Please Do.
