SmartassCross
Alas, using the purge function followed by re-deploying did not add them to the plugin list. However I tried using the reinstall and replace function for one mod and that added it to the list. It seems that may be a possible workaround, though likely not the intended way of doing things. I'm 99.9% sure I followed the guide on importing them to the letter but perhaps I missed something.
rmm200
Newest versions of Vortex have Purge in regular mode as well. Thank you, rmm200. I didn't know that. I like to think Tannin listened to us.

Importing from NMM is a risky business given that NMM did not keep pristine installation logs. It looks like your workaround is the best way to go. Let us know how it works out for you. SmartassCross
I will be sure to update once I've gone through them all so that others may have a work-around as well. Thank you all very much for the help with everything, I truly appreciate it and your patience with me.
SmartassCross
So, reinstalling them did indeed add them to the plugin list and made the save game playable. However, it took a VERY long time as Vortex wanted to redeploy after every single install. On the bright side, importing did bring over all the mods so they did not need to be downloaded once again. If you have a lot of mods its easy to lose your place on the list as you reinstall them all. Hopefully they will get the import function a bit more smoothed out but I am very appreciative for all the help and that my game is playable once again. Just remember to Deploy when you are done enabling.
