BadHornet25
So I recently made the switch to Vortex from NMM and I am kind of regretting it. I download it, get all of my mods installed and imported but when I try to load up my game to play some it basically lists every all of my mods and says my save file has mods that are no longer installed. I go into the mod tab on fallout and I check my load order and they do not appear on there, just the ones I have added through Bethesda. I checked Vortex again and no mods are conflicting I checked for updates and nothing has worked yet. I also went into my computer and found a mods folder in my fallout 4 folder that was empty except for like 4 or 5 things labeled gibberish( the attached picture below) note I also have 92 mods that I have used throughout the years that haven't given me problems before PLZ HELP

rmm200
From your screenshot, you appear to have a Mods directory inside your game directory. That is never right. You best post all your directory paths. We will try to help sort them out. This includes Fallout 4 (the game), your Downloads path, and your Mods path.Game path is pretty obvious. Mods path has to be on the same disk partition, but not inside your game. Downloads can be anywhere you like.

DO NOT put ANY Vortex Directories INSIDE your GAME Folders. You should do the same thing you did with your Mod Staging Folder D:\Vortex Downloads\Fallout 4\

rmm200
If this is still a problem, Click Purge and let it finish. Then click Deploy. Now, if you can, give us a screen shot of your Mods page and your Plugins page. Vortex feature suggestion: I would love to have this screenshot ability built in to Vortex. Helps a lot in bug shooting, and the screen shots have to fit inside the 250K site limit. rmm200
Turn on Advanced in Vortex settings. Then Purge Mods will appear on the Mods toolbar.I don't care what mods you actually have - I want to see how Vortex displays them on the Mods page. Just one page is enough. Same for Plugins.
