Mod deployment failure

I keep getting a deployment fail

"Deployment failed

41 files were not correctly deployed(see log for details)

The most likely reason is the mods were locked by external applications so please ensure no other application has a mod file open"

 

There are no other files open, I rebooted twice, the mods are on the same drive, this only started after I updated today, There are no errors or warnings in the logs, and my drive is NTFS.

 

No idea how to fix this, please help

 

Also no idea how to use tags...

Same here after the update. I restarted my computer, reinstalled vortex and tried reinstalling the mods mentioned in the logs. Nothing is interfering with Vortex. I'm not sure what the problem is. Mine logs keep warning me of "warn: failed to link error=Cannot read property 'showDialogCallback' of undefined" . I hope this update didn't permanently screw up my game.

Thank you for the information about rolling back. I was unaware of the warning. I always manually update, but there was no warning given when I did that. I need to find out what the roll back problem is.

 

 

The update notice (currently showing in my version of Vortex) says "Major Update available, After installing this update you shouldn't go back to an older version"

Im afraid to try because I remember a message when I updated warning that you could not do that

 

Tannin42 (the developer) has indicated that it's safe to roll back. See this thread: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/7681488-8-files-could-not-be-deployed-issue-after-updating/
