DarkDominion
Is it me or is the latest version ( 0.18.6 from 29th May ) waaaaay slower than the version before that ?And by way slower I mean like 5-8 seconds per mod ( that's a lot on a 250 mods list  ) Looks like it take ages to even check for external changes... Cheers-=DD=-
Tannin42
So I conclude you're talking about the deployment process specifically that is slower?Could you send in a feedback with your log attached (a log from after you ran deployment). Also what game is this referring to? What deployment method do you use? It shouldn't be slower in general and i don't think we even touched the code checking for external changes at all. AugustaCalidia
No lethargic version 0.18.6 here. Vortex zips through deployment for all of my games, including my most heavily modded game (218 mods).
rmm200
0.18.6Skyrim SE - 93 mods - About 15 seconds. Half that is checking for external changes. FNIS run would add more. This mod folder has about 7 MB in Vortex.deployment.json. Might check if yours is huge. Also, that equates to 70 plugins. Very few texture only files.Problem not seen here. Well...I switched game to Skyrim. 160 mods.I spent two minutes watching a black screen with a white bar across it. Word "Run" on left side.Next minute screen stayed black with white bar, but word on left changed to "Checking".Next screen cleared and Banner "Deployment in progress". This ran for another minute. Once this was all done, next Deploy took 37 seconds. So in my case, only switching games took - forever. I actually thought Vortex crashed. Second note. I stopped Vortex and restarted it.Switching from Skyrim to Skyrim SE was literally instantaneous. None of this black screen with "Run" and "Checking".Just a little blue box saying game switched.
