Wilczek21
Nexus Mod Manager could be closed after starting the game and mods were still working. I tried to do that with Vortex, but it didn't work. So, can I close and play the game or maybe Vortex have to be open for mods to work?
Guest deleted34304850
you dont need vortex to be open to play a game. when you say it didn't work - what, exactly didn't work?
rmm200
You don't even need Vortex open to launch the game.Once mods are installed in the game, Vortex' job is done.

HadToRegister
Yeah, but when I installed a mod with Vortex and then closed it the mod didn't worked. Let me guess, it was a mod that uses SKSE64, or SKSE, or FNVSE, or FOSE, or OBSE (Don't know WHICH GAME you're using with Vortex) OR you're playing Witcher 3 and using SYmlinks Kind of hard to help you when you don't even say which game you're playing
Wilczek21
It was Kingdom Come Deliverance. To make it work I had to put .pak file in data.
HadToRegister
Do you have the Mod Staging Folder on the same drive as the game?

EDIT - No, it's on different drive. Should I change it?
