An Oldrim Mod Conversion to Skyrim SE Request

Recommended Posts

Hello All!

I need help.

I've recently decided to go through Skyrim again and have installed all my favorite mods from the old days to the new SE setup, with two exceptions.

Valfar Companion:

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25360/?

Aesir Armor

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35094/?

I contacted the mod creator Omesean a couple of times to see if I could, or he could or anyone could, PLEASE Convert these mods to 64bit. I have yet to receive any response (the first was over a year ago). Bummer.

So then, I took a swing at converting these mods myself following different conversion tutorials out there and on this site (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17990) to no avail.

Archive.exe crashes when I try to repack the BSA files. I'm at a loss.

Finally, I figured I'd appeal to someone here that probably has much more experience converting these Mods than me.

Plz pm me if you can help or if there is some reason these won't convert and save me beating my head against a wall.

Thanks!

Well...bummer. It seems to be abandoned, what a waste. Thx for the response.

Alaebasta is right

Search for "Dummies" in the SKyrim SE section, there's a guide that walks you through how to convert from LE to SE. It's called something like "Conversion for Dummies" or something.

It MIGHT work, it really depends on the mod you want to port for personal use.

If it's really epic or script heavy, you might have problems, but it's worth a try.

Just be sure to use it for personal use, and don't upload it to the Nexus.
