IronsidePlatoon Zaekra: Searching A Hidden Pocket in IronsidePlatoonBase

[1]20.1[44]

The guidebot led a IronsidePlatoon squad to a hidden 'pocket' within an isolated area of what was now the IronsidePlatoonBase but which was also part of FutureFoodDC. In a storage cooling chamber were neatly stored bottles of different kinds of NutroCola being 1,000s of them. All known variants were there but also two previously unknown ones being NutroCola Fission and Fusion.

Behind the stock, of NutroCola Fission and Fusion, which could be moved to one side, was a powerdoor into a hidden pocket chamber. Despite the name it was very large and in it was a large, powerful, fusion generator along with its fission activator unit. It was an experimental prototype, according to data found there, capable of unleashing large bursts of very high voltage electricity in less than a minute.

The questions were why was it there, why was it concealed and what was it used for when the processing complex already had orthodox fusion generators, wind power generators, solar power arrays and even back up diesel generators?

It was not to do with the cableteleport hub for that had its own, independent, power sources.

The same had turned out to be true for the experimental cableless teleportation hub now in the newly named MoopsmalaComplex.

It was not just a matter of the amount of electricity to be provided but also its very high voltage and short burst; just what tech was powered in that fashion?

A large number of heavily sealed cables vanished through a large circular hole in one wall. This ended up leading to a tubeway that led to an area that on the official 3Dmaps of FutureFoodDC were blank. It was a wonder just how many secrets were concealed in that place and what links they might have with a great conspiracy.

As for the NutroCola Fission and Fusion they were both never to be consumed by any living thing, not even such as radghouls or mutigehulks, according to their labels and heavily sealed nature. There was no explanation to what they were supposed to be used for except for the curious warnings, and red skull-bone symbols, on the bottle labels. Which begged the question of why make drinks that supposedly nobody could actually drink or was that true?

Samtha Ironside, and MoopsmalaConco, found the secret door that led to a big, long, tunnel with a monorail at floor level and a raised walkway, to one side, being higher than that. Psyonic sensing danger, the group backed decision was that special preparations had to be made before any team went along that tunnel leading into the unknown.

WayWanderer: PrimeWanderer Checks on Something...

[1]21.1[45]

The PrimeWanderer moved phantomic, more than invisible, across part of Calibraska not far from the massive StarOctogon baseplex of the SOATO. SOATO policy had shifted to bring in local tribals, and settlers, into outermost bunkers because of the growing threats of the highly ambitious CCNIR (Constitutional Calibraska Nafornia Irelandia Republic) and the bloody madness of carnivore primate based Caesar Octonean's Empire and Legions. There were other new challenges also arising and some that were remainders of the past.

Then he came upon it, at a place that most others could not perceive consciously and which they avoided with out knowing that they did so. The extremely powerful, complicated and subtle barriers were still keeping most from even noting the existence of the massive SarArkship being #01 of StarArkfleet #02. Its sides were burned hard, at places, and even melted a little which meant a great deal considering how amazingly hard the hull was.

Thirteen StarArkfleets had travelled from the OldEarth to the NewEarth.

He spoke to seemingly mid air. “All of those, who came in StarArkship #02-01, are still there unlike all the other StarArkships of the second StarArkfleet that now are part of Sanctumus.”

The air shimmered, as a kind of vertical column, not far from where he stood. The voice seemed to come from all directions. “Answering the question that you are really asking, the healing goes on slowly-steadily and just recently more than 2,000 lifeforms were cured enough to be able to be transferred to Sanctumus as one day the StarArkship will be to join the others of the second fleet. Before you ask, we will not let you enter the StarArkship that you once piloted just as the rest of the WayWanderer 13 once piloted the other StarArkships of the 2nd StarArkfleet.”

The PrimeWanderer turned around and walked away only to vanish away with a soft shimmering having again not been able to visit his healing wife and children of so very long ago. They were still mortals while he had become something else very different along with the others of the WayWanderer that had become 13 almost as one in order to become powerful, greatly knowledgeable, immortals. Too late had they realised the high price of their selfish, dark, destructive desires and it was a price they were still struggling to pay.

IronsidePlatoon WayWanderer Zaekra: Through a Nulldoor to a Chamber of!?

[1]23.1[46]

Not until the guidebot was very close to it, in the tunnel, did the blackness of the nulldoor become perceptible to it and the others in the group. Until that very moment it seemed that the tunnel was just going to keep stretching out into the distance.

It was a wall of pitch black darkness absorbing all light.

Now visible was now an up-down lever in its own vertical wall recess. Next to it was, in its own wall recess, a lock keypad of a standard kind with a wide 2Dscreen above and horizontal keycard slot beneath it.

The guidebot provided the ultra security keycard from some concealed place and also the keycode that need to be tapped out on the keypad. It even pulled down the lever so a great pulse of electricity came bolting from the experimental generator that they had run into earlier. As the guidebot pointed out, using data that had just arisen, for its use, from 'deep inside', one way to get through a nulldoor was to cleverly use a great surge of very high voltage electricity; it did not know why this was so. It was clear that somebody had set up the generator, to get through the nulldoor, but had they caused the nulldoor to be there.

They made their way through the cold darkness, now no longer solid, and on the other side found themselves in a truly vast chamber stretching out into the distance. It was of cold, mildly dim, blue tinged, light coming from all directions and throwing no shadows. The air was still.

There were copies, of aspects, of the NewEarth to be seen such as the NewWashington Monument Tower, the part melted Eiffel Supertower, the alien SapphireCity, a NewEarth Moons Mission atomic rocketship sitting on a massive tracked platform with scaffolding around the rocket including such features as elevators, a very big cargo aeroship and much else.

As they began to move through that strange area, they saw a row of AtomicStrider superrobots standing at attention in a row before noting they were different stages of prototype. After that matters got stranger with smaller items being suspended in mid air be they weapons, tools, robots, vehicles, public utilities and much else. There were parts of elevators, public 3Dphone booths, hovercars, NutroCola vending machines, sets of power armour of which not all were for military purposes, cans of food-drink, mops, toy guns, A billboard advertising a 3Dmovie starring Lassie the wonder dog, university medical textbooks along with lots and lots of else.

Most basic mannecant androids stood with a great array of clothing and other gear of civil, military and other purposes from nighties to business suits, fire fighting gear, police uniforms with bodyarmour, expensive going out clothes, bathing suits, costumes and again much much else.

Samtha spoke. “Not so much a museum as a list of items found in the ravaged Predoomsday world. There are clues there to what we would find on other parts of this world. This could be looked upon as a reference... index perhaps to do with mapping the NewEarth. Yet it is somehow may not so straight forward as that.”

Airships, aeroplanes, ships, submarines and other machines hovered, steady as bricks, in the air. A gently winding river flowed across the great chamber in the distance and its shorelines were of rough Wastelands kinds with gnarled, ugly, tough mutiplants.

[1]23.2[47]

The distance flickered oddly, in all directions, the nulldoor having vanished. It was hard to see just how far away the walls were or even for certain if they were walls.

As with a desert mirage, there was a wavering in the distance and from mid air appeared a truly monstrous, massive, tunnel making machine. Behind it was a great AtomicStrider like robot but it was over three times bigger-wider. Then there was a massive aeroship like machine with great out swept jet aircraft like wings.

In the same, general, direction was a great city made up of oversized children's plastic building bricks of multiple colours. Plastic brick humanoid figures, animals and robots bustled busily around castle, skyscraper, cathedral and other structures but there were also other Wastelands type ones such as those in power armour or such as deathclaws.

The tall, slimly muscular, man in a rainbow coat, bowler hat and cricket player's whites, stood smiling at them. Then he spoke as he adjusted his hat over his wild mop of dark blonde hair that went oddly with his pitch black skin. “MasterOddity, of the WayWanderer, greets you in this place of disturbing non placement of things that have no real place to be emplaced in.”

MoopsmalaConco spoke. “Gosh, what you say is wonderful even if I have no idea what you are talking about and that means you must be wonderful because I think you are wonderful.”

MasterOddity bowed gracefully and then spoke. “Your logic is impeccably impeccable!”

MoopsmalaConco smiled, in her concrete manner. “Gosh, that is good because I want nothing to peck at my logic.”

MasterOddity bowed again. “Aaahhh, you are very wise for who would want ones logic to be pecked at by the illogical. This is one of the transdimensional reflection zones as used to help create the NewEarth.

Samtha spoke quietly, thoughtfully. “Is the NewEarth real or fake?”

MasterOddity smiled. “As you know, deep down inside your self, it is both and neither for it is made up of more than two sets, of opposing elements, in flux and flow. It is quasireality. Its creation process is far from simple and its evolution far from straight forward. The WayWanderer, of which I am but one aspect of, is having difficulty working out the truth and, modesty aside, that is stating a great deal.”

MoopsmalaConco spoke. “Its nice that Modesty should step to one side who ever that one is.”

Samtha smiled. “We still have much to talk about, beloved MoopsmalaConco, when it comes to human ways which are complicated and, sometimes, silly. Why did we end up here, in this crazy place?”

MasterOddity shrugged. “I do not know! I was drawn here by the WayWandererCore that connects, anchors, all of us and to which the PrimeWanderer is most directly, heavily, linked to. The trouble is that the WayWandererCore is often most subtle in its ways. I have the 'urge' to lead us onwards.”

[1]23.3[48]

MasterOddity led the group in an odd course that appeared illogical and felt rational. Zigzag they went, sometimes looping, at others going back the way they came or just standing still for a carefully times period of time. At times they moved slower than others or more quietly than others. Around them, as they travelled, mirage like shimmering took place to show walls or statues or emptiness or a wide range of other 'things' not clearly discernible.

At times there were very big 3Ddatasymbols floating in the air or even moving in slowly-steadily changing patterns. The 3Ddatasymbols would sometimes change or even be constantly doing so.

They came to a nulldoor, a blackest of black slab, and MasterOddity led them easily through it so that they once more passed through deep darkness and cold but only briefly so. If he used a surge of high voltage electricity, to do so, it was not evident.

IronsidePlatoon WayWanderer Zaekra: Place of Lost Souls and Things

[1]24.1[49]

From the nulldoor was a strange experience of moving through a disturbance of drifting naked human figures through a partly obscuring thick mist. There were also animals, manufactured androids as 'naked' humans, grown synthdroids also 'bare', robots, remotebots, remoterobots and other 'things' such as quasiliving silicon based quasilifeforms.

MasterOddity gave the impression of being mildly uncomfortable but with somebody as stoic as he was, that meant a great deal. “A reminder of arrogance, of hubris, of blind selfishness to create a super utopia as a reflection of one self and one's desires. The WayWanderer was amongst the original 13Genius13 who helped a great wrong come to be. We 'piloted' the first 13 of the StarArkships that went from the OldEarth to the NewEarth. The poor lost souls here are but one result of the madness of the 13G13, being our shortened name. The WayWanderer formed of one of the original G13s as it broke away in order to seek repentance and redemption; it has been a hard journey since, a wandering of sorts as guided by those mentoring our way to final redemption.”

MoopsmalaConco: “Gosh, you poor things.”

MasterOddity: “Thank you, Moopsmala, very much for that feels good that you said that. The 13G13 found a way to replace us and other 13s that escaped the power of the HighG13. Their thin promise, of democracy, was proven to be an attempt to dominate the others as in three MidG13s and nine BaseG13s. There was supposed to have been a flowing exchange of positions inside the pyramid but it soon turned out that it was really a rigidly hierarchical one. The 13G13 are still out there as the 13Conspiracy13 or 13Con13 for short.”

MoopsmalaConco: “Why is it called the 13G13 called that with the extra '13' at the end?”

“A very good question!” MasterOddity responded. “Every single original 13 member each had 13 avatars to serve him or her. We did also but they have not been active for a long time. Perhaps it is time to bring them back into action such as mine that could be known as FollowerOddities or OddityFollowers.”

MoopsmalaConco: “MoopsmalaConco might have 13 FollowerConcos or ConcoFollowers.”

Samtha kissed MoopsmalaConco before speaking. “Impressively good idea but one to be worked on before committing to like what sort of ConcoFollowers, which I think is the better name just like OddityFollowers is better than FollowerOddities.”

MasterOddity kissed Moopsmala before speaking. “I agree!”

Suddenly they were there or were they? There was a strong inexplicable impression that they were 'both there and not there' being 13 almost transparent spheres floating in the air that each held an older teenadult of three genders being three neuters, five females and five males. The neuters, and males, were slimly muscular while the females were slimly voluptuous-muscular. They were all the same height of two metres.

MasterOddity spoke in a tone of awe. “The Orignal13, the basis of the 13G13 and other 13 patterns of clones such as the Cyberdominos, the Almanina clones perhaps including such as Almata, the SRAT (Stealth Recon Assault Trooper) clones, the splinterclones and many others including the genetic material basis for synthflesh synthdroids that are grown and not manufactured as are androids.”

MoopsmalaConco: “They are sad, lost and that makes me unhappy. All those lost souls are so.”

MasterOddity: “I helped make that happen and that is why I am here to help undo the damage.”

[1]24.2[50]

They kept moving through the strangeness until they were passing through an area of surreal swampland dotted with softly glowing vending machines, gambling slot-machines and pinball tables along with other odd mechanisms. There were giant caterpillars, dressed in tuxedos, smoking hashish pipes or reading strangely elegant tomes or strumming golden banjos or just sitting quietly still as if almost meditating. Sometimes, in the distance, appeared crash landed B52 high altitude long distance bombers or even bigger B54 rocketbombers that could fly up to low orbit. Odd smells, sounds and changes in temperature took place while swamplands flora-fauna was common be it trees, giant mushrooms, mushroomtrees, amphibious wombats, alligators, frogs, palms, swamp dinosaurs and lots of other things.

MoopsmalaConco was most curious. “Nature, of your world, is amazing.”

Samtha smiled. “MoopsmalaConco, this is not really nature though it is amazing.”

MoopsmalaConco shivered suddenly, apparently with fear.

Samtha spoke as she held out her hand. “Please comfort me by holding my hand, sweetie.”

MoopsmalaConco lightly gripped Samtha's hand with her nearest upper one. “Okay, sweetie Samtha, but I am the frightened one. Something out there is of we Zaekra but not like anything I have met. Hopefully it is not one of those nasty Zaekra thingies left over from the ZaekricWar that saw the ending of the rule of the ZaekricGodGoddess. Though I am ancient, by mortal standards, the ZaekricWar took place lots and lots of ages before I was born as we ZaekricGods are born by being born from mum.”

Samtha nodded, with a smile. “Not as young as I am!”

MoopsmalaConco shook her head. “I am a lot younger than you truly really are.”

Samtha froze in place and so it was that when they entered another nulldoor that, while MoopsmalaConco kept holding her powergloved hand, MasterOddity effortlessly carried Samtha through the strange blackness. MoopsmalaConco had to be comforted that she was not at fault in causing Samtha to do what she did and that holding Samtha's hand was being very helpful to the IronsideTriplet, which was true.

IronsideForce WayWanderer: Battle at Henchman’s Lake

[1]25.1[51]

Sounds of fighting echoed over the area of the lake and low hills surrounding it as IronsideForce moved to counter a major attack that the massive convoy had been warned of by a mysterious source. Explosions dotted the largely semiarid area, looking mostly like dust. In the growing darkness, tracer fire was becoming more visible even as rocketgrenades shot through the air along with missiles along with other projectiles. Laser beams blinked from different places as the lasergunners kept moving because using laserguns could easily indicate firing positions to enemy observers.

The IronsideQuadruplets commanded the IronsideForce with Benjamin being the Marshal of IronsideForce Command, Major Brantmin being in command of power armour infantry with mechas, Major Berrimin being in command of fanjet hovercraft forces and Major Bravemin being in charge of air support.

IronsideForce battled against a failed ambush, Starmajor Benjamin Ironside being also in general charge of special forces units concealed inside the IronsideForce but now focusing on being commander. The fighting was going strong, at times, on the eastern side of Henchman’s Lake, being its Postdoomsday name. A big, fallout clean, crater had expanded the size of the lake on Tridoomsday, stretching it out westwards.

Major Brantman's power armoured infantry, with the support of battlemechas, had dug in enough to be ready for the supposed surprise of power armour mercenaries, with their own robots and small warmachines, and had blunted that assault in a brutal fashion.

Major Berrimin's hoverjets circled around the enemy enough to strike them suddenly from the side, using surprise to hit the enemy that was not dug in and thus was vulnerable. The attackers had come on over confidently as if totally sure of what ever information that they had been given.

Major Bravemin's fast moving jetcopters, sleek and advanced with goodly armour and weapons, kept striking at the scrambled enemy forces that were starting to retreat. They hugged the terrain, moving quietly with the use of very specialised jet propulsion.

As the fighting became more sporadic the black-grey stealth jetcopters eased off their attacks even as some hoverguns ceased raining howitzer shells upon them. Hoverguns were a mixture of howitzer users, different sizes of autocannons, lasergun users, and other arrangements while lightly armed hovertroops carried light power armoured hovertroopers. Hovercarriers were for logistical support but there were some more specialised hoverjets. The jetcopters were troopcopters, guncopters and of other more specialised types.

The fighting had died down as both sides were trying to conserve valuable resources, including living ones. The mercenaries began a fighting retreat, along with their robots, and it became just a retreat as the IronsideForce let them go. The enemy had suffered greatly, by falling into a trap, and there was nothing to be gained by continuing the fighting.

After the enemy were gone, the IronsideForce returned to the paused and waiting large convoy. The IronsideQuadruplets were angry when they learned that some main stream commanders had demanded that the IronsideForce be left behind, that they be sacrificed supposedly for the greater good of the ArmatechOrder. They had easily been crushed by those loyal to ArmatechOrder traditions and who knew the common sense of not losing the very valuable IronsideForce.

[1]25.2[52]

MarshalAdmiral, of the WayWanderer, stood at a distance from the battleground that would have meant, for a mortal, being unable to see it but he observed the action efficiently and in multiple ways. Unknown, to the brilliant military IronsideQuadruplets, he had sent the warning information but also had his own followers attacking the dark karmic mercenaries from behind.

The enemy mercs were a mix of radhumans, hulking radmans, even more hulking mutihulks and animans. They had been sent not to destroy the whole, massive, convoy but just the IronsideForce that had been treacherously set up by a handful of Ironsiders in the convoy; professional jealousy had driven the betrayal along with fear of being replaced by the fast rising quadruplets.

Yet another faction had been behind that move; it was the 13Conspiracy13, 13Con13, as driven by the 13Genius13 through the 1Gen1 organisation and its various elements. The 13Con13 was sometimes called the great conspiracy but there were three dark alliances that could legitimately called that; that is also the CultConspiracy and the twisted ShadowConspiracy.

There was also the 'positive' CoConspiracy. Co stood for counter, cooperative, coordinated, concealment, conscious, courage, common sense, compassion and lots of other possible words starting with 'co'. MarshalAdmiral suspected that 'confused' could be a good addition along with 'convoluted'.

Were there other conspiracies? Of course there were!
