Plugins disabled automatically

I do not know why, but my plugins have been disabling on me every time I run skyrim (it happens only when I run the game), it has been happening constantly and I had to manually enable them all every time I run the game. I have also tried making the files in "Profiles" read only, but to no avail, maybe i am doing it wrong. Thank you for spending your time on this post, and for trying to help me (if you do of course).

Are you using Vortex by itself, or do you also have NMM open?

Also, is it possible you made the file "ready only" in the "plugins disabled" state?

  • 2 weeks later...

Are you starting Skyrim directly or does it start the Launcher first? The launcher may be resetting the plugin list.

Do you use any other modding tools?

It's start the launcher first. Should've said, my bad.

So, when you start the game without starting the launcher your plugins stay enabled then?

Don't worry anymore, the moment you said it was because of the launcher, i tried to fix the problem and it seemed to be fixed. Thank you. (Although all i did was reinstalling skyrim)
