cossayos
I mean, I'm getting pretty tired of "this unit is currently in factory default mode" whenever I come within shouting distance of any robot. No, I don't want you to ffollow me. If I wanted you to follow, I'd say so.
HeyYou
Sounds like a mod issue. What's your load list?
cossayos
Sounds like a mod issue. What's your load list? I should have posted that in the mod section. My mistake. No, it's not a mod issue, it's the vanilla automatron DLC making every robot constantly adress you whenever you get near it. I'm looking for a way to shut their trap, since it's highly bothersome to constantly go through conversations with them and to tell them to get lost. They're obviously scripted in a way to aggressively suggest companionship. Edited July 22, 2019 by cossayos

cossayos
That's just odd, I don't think I have ever heard robots say that...... If you create them in the workbench it's the first they say, if you don't leg it instantly. "Unit is currently in factory default mode, do you wish to activate this units personality subroutines". Later on, if you come into shouting distance, they say "Identity confirmed" and you're instantly forced into a dialogue about recruiting the particular robot as a companion, if you don't make a quick beeline away from the sucker. That's why I want them to shut it. It's tiresome, especially if you're already in a dialogue with someone else at a settlement and a robot sneaks up on you. Then you have constant background noise on the lines of "processing silence" because you didn't answer the robot's question immediately.
