The supporter suggestion is nice and useful, but what you guys should suggest first is the link where OP can report such ads as the nexus team can't really know exactly what ads you are served. Without knowledge of the intrusive ads they can't do much about said ads.

I totally agree with labs20/ Add saturation was the reason I threw out my TV a decade ago. Can't imagine what it would be like in USA, Add set every 4 mins!

I'm not sure Nexus has much say in it as it's the Add companies dollar.

I have a couple of really good Add blockers that I never turn off, for any site. One will even block whole domains, much more useful than I thought it would be.

The reason I got the supporters ticket was the unhappy face banner at top and bottom of page because I have add blockers. Much more effective with me than any easily ignored text banner.

I stopped watching TV over 9 years ago and the chief reason was ad saturation. But really somebody needs to pay the bills around here. Otherwise there will be no Nexus.

Labs22 I understand what you are saying. Where I live I do not have unlimited internet so I have to manage my internet carefully.

I have no issue with the amount of ads, but I agree with you that they are to big. I wish they would reduce the size of the ads. That has to be horrible for someone with a small screen.

Nexus is the largest hosted mod-site on the internet and by far the best. The costs for running a heavy traffic site like this must cost several thousand USD per month.. I bet its not far from $10,000 a month considering hosting fees, cybersec protection, SQL database and Web Op salaries.

Pay the $2 and stop complaining. As they say in my neck-of-the-woods, either s#*! or get off the pot !
