Borderlands 2

I haven't even finished it yet and already feeling the burn of how tediously repetitive it is. I played the snizzle out of BL1 (Every DLC, full lvl 50's on PS3 for every class and full orange builds) and BL2 I really played for the enhanced story. The environments were great too, and generally I preferred the new classes.

 

But now it's killing me to keep going to finish it. So much of a grind it has become to get things done.

 

Don't get me wrong, I love the game, but I love it only so much after a while of killing the same things, doing the same fetch quest. ect.

see i think its the fact that most of us have played the crap outta BL1 (and for me, i was playing it just before BL2 came out) thats making BL2 drag on a bit.

 

as i said, i just beat Bnk3r and thought i was close to the end, but when i unlocked like 3 new maps and 10 new side missions and whatnot, i got burned out. ill go back to it someday, but im gunna go and play other PS3 games for now, maybe do some trophy hunting on old games, or play some of the new games ive had for months that are just sitting there. lol either way, ive taken a break from BL2.

There is more dlc on the way, November 20 for borderlands 2. just like the pirates its going to a game in itself., and new weapon types.

New race? What do you mean? RPG ELEMENTS? WHAAA-? Just looking for the rare spawns is a pain...>.>

 

It's alright though, I'm going to play Dishonored and soon Far Cry 3. Much more absorbing games for now.

 

Did you hear about Borderlands possibly ending up on the Vita? Gearbox really considering it? Now that I would love. I have hell a lot of more time to invest into a game if it's portable.

I think that would be a big seller, maybe make a entire new game based on the lore of 2 and add its own dlc. playing it twice wouldn't be so much fun if i already had the borderlands 2 on the ps3.

 

Like those other vaults that seem to be on other planets other then Pandora??

Ha ha it's not so much of a spoiler since it was pretty obvious with each DLC coming with a new vault location. I'd love way more customization, like Skyrim/APB level amount, since the characters are pretty flat anyways,

o ya Borderlands! haha im still havent played for a while now. still sitting at lvl 29 right after Bnk3r. since then ive played through StarCraft2 Campaign again and Black Ops 2 campaign, and now going through a second time on that (my first CoD game, and the campaign is really fun)....gunna be a while before i head on back to BL2. at least not until next year haha its funny cause its not that far away. but still, gunna be a long time before i go back. just got too boring for me i guess.

 

Borderlands was so much fun because it was so unique. Borderlands 2 doesnt have that appeal because nothing changed from BL1. a good game, but as i said, got boring too fast since it was no different from its predecessor. im not even sure if ill ever get a toon to 50. MAYBE after all the DLC, which ill have from the Season Pass, but im in no hurry to play any of those either. we will see. atm i dont have a desire to play nvm get to 50 or think about the DLC. and i definitely atm dont see myself playing a Playthrough 2 or 2.5. unlike in Borderlands 1 where i went all the way to 2.5 in one sitting of the game and played all the DLC the day they came out (except the last one. musta had that for a while before i finally went and finished it)
