rmm200
Use Vortex feedback to send that suggestion to the developers. Except that to provide feedback from within the app, I now have to update to the latest version. *sigh I have found that problematic for awhile now.Literally no way to report problems with the latest update - without updating to it.Silly rule - any version within -say - three should be able to report issues. This has kept me from reporting a few. amoeba00
If anyone wants to compare the hash files from the member.exe file in question here is the hash from v.19.1:SHA256: 84C9A4D7D004BF3ABA8924AAE616CD66CC4017CF2065B5D72740187E736F684B
Tannin42
Pretty sure this is a false positive. Also: member.exe is actually just a sample for the detours library, it doesn't get run when you use Vortex and it should be entirely safe to delete or quarantine it, Vortex shouldn't be affected. Rovlad84
^ If it's not used by the application, you can probably avoid the headache by simply not shipping it. :)
OfficialDSplayer
Got this today when Windows Defender did it's normal daily scan. I hope nexus talks about it.

OK - this is good information to have and I agree with @Rovlad84 that if it's not actually used with Vortex - then maybe it shouldn't be included. rmm200
If you are waiting for Vortex to fix this - you are in for a long wait. It is not a Vortex problem.Eventually Windows Defender will update their virus detection and the problem will go away.
