AugustaCalidia
@TheIrishTurtle Vortex offers at least four different ways to order plugins. Zanderat has shown you one, and I have shown you another, both of which involve setting a rule. You can also order plugins by LOOT group assignments and by locking the mod index. The latter should only be used in the rarest and most extreme cases. There may be other options as well, but these are the four that I know of. TheIrishTurtle
From the plugins tab, why not just drag the icon on the right from one mod to the other? You know, drag and drop. Contrary to popular belief, you can do this Vortex. Oh that's cool I didn't realise you could actually do that, everything I'd seen implied that it couldn't be done that way! HadToRegister
All you need to do is make a simple rule that Sim Settlements load after Workshop Framework. What happens when you sort plugin order with Vortex? Where do I make that rule? The only place I've seen where I can change load order is through which categories are loaded in which priority order. What do you mean by "ordering categories"? The only categories that I know of are on the mods categories, which have nothing to do either with load order or with install order. On the plugins page, you will find LOOT groups. Is that what you're talking about? As for making a rule, click on the "Manage Rules" button on the plugins page taskbar and use the drop down menu to set your rule. Review the appropriate article in the Vortex Knowledge Base accessed from the dashboard. There's helpful information there. In nmm it was a simple case of moving one up in priority but as far as I can tell I'll have to create a new category and move its priority above SS but then create another set of categories to make sure it doesn't go above other higher mods in the load order it seems like such a long solution for something that used to be so easy. Am I missing something here. Yes, you're missing the point that all you have to do is tell the the mod to load before SS.I don't know where you go the impression that a Category and Group, and a whole bunch of other things need to be created to simply tell one mod to load BEFORE or AFTER another. However, in this guy's case, WF is supposed to LOAD AFTER SS, but he's insisting on forcing it to load BEFORE SSI tried helping him, but he told me that my words were Rubbish Just click on KNOWLEDGE BASE in Vortex, then click on "Managing your Load Order" to quell any misunderstanding about categories, rules etc.

Secondly: In my case WF IS supposed to LOAD BEFORE SS, as that is the result I am trying to achieve due to wanting to test my own mods interactions with them in this order. Thirdly: Kinggath the SS mod creator has frequently said as a bug fix if you have issues, to try loading WF BEFORE SS, so your wrong there anyway. Finally: You claimed to have blocked me after I called you out for answering your own question, rather than the question I asked so why are you bothering to come back to this thread? Fishing for sympathy? Trying to make yourself look better? Apologies to anyone else getting notified by this post I just don't like people trying to fish for sympathy, or answer their own questions over what's actually asked. Have a great day! o/
