monesq
To begin, I use LOOT, FNIS, Vortex, SSEEdit Quick Auto Clean, Skse64, and have a powerful video card and chip set. I have a load order that did work well but decided to change to another profile to try out some other mods and new lands, used some of the mods from the previous profile but not all. I reinstalled Skyrim SE, removing the directory from my computer after reinstalling, and I verified the integrity of the install through steam. My Skyrim SE and all other mod tools are up to date. The issues started right from the start as I was having a CTD problem 60 seconds or so into the game. I disabled all mods and then slowly enabled them until the CTD stopped. Could not find which mod, if any, was causing the CTD because all the mods were eventually loaded. I still have an occasional CTD that occurs more often than not when there is some sort of animation (jumping off the horse to attack a group of enemies as an example, or simply riding a horse with my followers). I cannot figure out the issue. My video driver is up to date, Windows 10 is up to date, and all mods are up to date. Both Vortex and Loot do not report any errors, yet, I am having a CTD issue. Could this issue be associated with a heat issue? I do have a cooler for my laptop but it still gets a bit warm. (GS 65 Stealth 9se with an RTX 2060 graphics card, Intel i7 9th generation). I have attached my load order which is not that large as I am trying out different things. Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks. HadToRegister
LOOT is already built into Vortex, no need to use it, because all you're going to end up doing is making the two fight each other.I disabled all mods and then slowly enabled them until the CTD stoppedUh...that sounds completely backwardsYou should be enabling them until the CTD STARTSIf you disabled all your mods and you were getting CTDS and kept enabling mods until the CTDs stopped, then something is wrong with your unmodded game
HadToRegister
Hang on, let me see if I understand this correctly.1. you said you had Skyrim installed and modded and working correctly2. you said you changed to another profile (in Vortex I assume), using some of the mods in the other profile.3. You then REINSTALLED SKyrim SE, removing the directory (Which Directory???) after reinstalling Skyrime SE4. Verified the integrity of your Skyrim SE installI'm trying to understand why you switched profiles in Vortex, (I ASSUME you switched Profiles in Vortex) and then felt you had to Reinstall SKyrim SE?
