fondentenero
Hello,I'm running the latest version of vortex on Windows 7 x64 and i'm trying to mod Pathfinder Kingmaker (16 mods installed, enabled and deployed, NO conflicts). The mods simply do not work, the game runs VANILLA and I don't know why.I repeat: all the mods are installed, enabled and deployed. Also, I've read that if you press CTRL+f10 a menu should open in game. Well, it doesn't. Any help please? I'm feeling like I'm missing something very simple and stupid.Thank you.
HadToRegister
Do you have your Mod Staging folder on the same drive as your game?If so, what Deployment method are you using?

Tannin42
Pathfinder Kingmaker requires UMM (Unity Mod Manager) to make the game moddable in the first place.Vortex should have notified you of that but you didn't mention it so maybe you overlooked that? HadToRegister
Have you tried Unity Mod Manager? It sounds like it';s made specifically for that game Ninja'd
fondentenero
yes, Unity Mod Manager says it's all installed and ok, but it doesn't work (it was the first mod manager i tried, but it looked kinda amateur looking and was not woring, so i tried vortex next)
Tannin42
Unity games often need to be patched to support modding in the first place. Vortex currently can't do that on its own, hence the need for UMM. The actual "mod management" part in UMM is quite limited though so Vortex offers an advantage over using UMM directly. Still, as far as Vortex is concerned it only deploys files to the appropriate location.Unless Vortex puts the files in the wrong place on disk (or doesn't deploy them at all) the error isn't with Vortex. fondentenero
SOLVED I needed to use the "assembly" method on UMM thank you.
