Kayden3
I just had to format my PC due to a C drive upgrade/failure and the 240+ mods I had managed through Vortex is now not being properly managed. I understand it isn't an everyday occurrence but when the previous software was a bit of a pain but you could make it work and you can't with, feels like a major MAJOR step back. Obviously this done in the registry or some other location on the C when it should be where the program was installed, not there, or at the very least allow us to do a back up. This isn't a suggestion it's a demand due to the time I spent learning this thing and listening to promises about it being easier and it's proven not to be in so many QOL situations for not just me but others. Get it together Nexus.

AugustaCalidia
The Vortex default location for core game data is "appdata\roaming\Vortex." I regularly back up this folder to both internal and external hard drives. I've never had a game recovery problem as a result. With Vortex, this core game data is not kept in the program installation directory. Otherwise, the data would be erased every time Vortex is updated. If you have a suggestion about this for the Vortex developers, then forward it to them through the Vortex feedback channel.
