Vortex wont let me launch skyrim special edition, due to a incompatible file

The file in question is sky u.i, which is vital for me, due to it not being updated in ages it shows a error message in NMM but still works perfectly fine, however, vortex now wont allow me to launch my game, due to Sky U.I being incompatible even though it worked fine before i downloaded vortex .

Edit:

-I am using the latest version of vortex

-like i said im tring to mod Skyrim Speciel Edition

-this is the first mod i have downloaded on vortex but i deleted my 20+ mods from NMM, including Sky U.I

-im using windows 10, so windows 64

-More Info: I've used sky U.I countless times but this is the first time i am using vortex to mod it. previously, with just running the game while i had NMM installed, it just gave me a warning that the mod was out of date, which then allowed me to launch the game and it worked perfectly fine. Now, with vortex it physically wont let me run the game, even launching it through the skse64_loader, i am beyond frustrated and even installing the mod manually wont get past vortex as it will still prevent me form launching the game. TLDR: i just want to launch Skyrim Speciel Edition with a "incompatible plugin"

Another Edit: OK nvm i guess i fixed it somehow? i just re downloaded it from the mod page and suddley its the right version now, still thinks its a bit daft how you cant launch a game even if it says its a incompatible plugin. if it were truly game braking it would go past the Bethesda logo then crash

Then you're using SkyUI for Skyrim LE instead of Skyrim SE, and the reason Vortex is complaining is because the ESP is form 43.

Am I correct in my guess?

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/12604 nope either that or it was crudely ported from the regular skyrim page, still i just want to launch the game

No, you had the Skyrim LE version installed

The only time you get "Incompatible Plugin", it's because it's for SkyRim LE and it's being used in Skyrim SE without being Converted.

This is the actual "Incompatible Plugin" message

"This plugin was created for the original Skyrim and may be incompatible with Skyrim Special Edition.

This can cause unforeseen problems during gameplay"

Once you downloaded and installed the correct version for Skyrim SE, your problem with SkyUI went away.
