Ban for Fun

The banned Banned Band has been banned from touring. I thought we knew that? Our rendition of: Banned of Gold did not go down well in Banada. I don't think it was helped by the band's insistence on reading the whole of Sherlock Holmes The Speckled Banned... though frankly I liked it.

Banned for bringing up a sore point... no jokes about banned aid thanks!

@zixi What?!  The Banned Ban Band I started didn't even take me with them to play.  I wanted to play.  Why didn't I get to play?  That's the question that lingers on my lips every time I give people good idea they run off and have fun.  I never get to play.

I hate being a cripple.  I ban all healthier cripples who went off and used my ideas to have fun without including me when and where so I could play too!

@Pagafyr - I think you've forgotten that you read The Speckled Banned aloud at the last concert! Frankly, I thought it was a success and I thought my flute playing was exemplary. Who'd have thought of using a flute in a rock band. I thought you were good on the tambourine as well - very Roger Daltry.

Surely you remember George's drum solo? And how AaronOfMpls twirled the mic round his head? I thought it was brilliant... specially when he lassoed the camera person... and did that dance over the keyboards...

Banned for misremembering what happened.

 

PS I do wonder if playing Banned on the Run is a bit of a risk though... and really Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Banned did take up a lot of concert time...

I'm not sure the audience got the puns... I really think with all that stuff about Banned Aid  they were expecting someone quite different...

I ban @zixi cause I don't know what they put in that gas they used on you, but I'll bet you suddenly were in another world.  Seems you dreamed in a lighter shade of pale, because you definitely started a whole new band in your mind while you been in hospital.

Me reading?  Me flicking a tambourine?

I play base.  I play the banned base guitar.  There is Stefenopulus plays the second guitar, Minneapolis Slim on keyboard, Gorge's on the lead six string guitar.  The hottest drummer around Loouy Goo his drummers skills will stick on you. 

You were the lead singer, but you came down with a soar throat.  We dropped you off at the hospital ER.  Janus from the back up trio singers troupe with Molly and Clare, stepped up and said she knew your songs by heart.  We all snorted doubtful at her.  The concert was a success and even though they weren't happy you weren't singing, they all cheered when we suggested they send you cards at the hospital. 

My banned band never got such a grand ovation and since then we've been on the road.  We've got gigs for another four months.

Sorry to hear you have that kissing disease and will be out for three more weeks.  You and your husband have to wash with that weird soap for a month.

Don't worry the fans are all loving your stand in, Ms. Joblin.  Maybe we'll be seeing you in time for next season and see how that works out.  But with Janus Joblin she is really holding the show together.  She has great charismatic charm.  Buzz, the stage hand.  He's the one with the Batman utility belt full of buzzes.  Remember him.  He still got your fave in the pouch if you want to get a quick memory refresher course of who you were.

He said he is thinking of asking Janus to marry him.  I told him he's too late.  She already has a guy.

You'll never guess who she likes?  And it isn't anyone from the band WHO.

When I was out at the truck helping the driver get unstuck, because someone pranked him by putting T-Rex glue on the driver's seat; he reminded me how you kept the rest of us from getting a bit tipped and doing stuff like that.  We had to take the whole seat out with him still in it cause the glue got through his threads onto his skin.   A guy from the band Nic Cole Bat was there, with a wrench in his hands.  It's like he was tuned, I mean zoned, so he knew he had to be where ever and found him self at our bus.  Just in time to help get the driver, you remember Dave, out of his predicament.

He misses you a lot.

Different strokes for different folks.  We played at the Gar Gangua party.  Opening for Jedthro Dull. He  was really excited to know you're one of his fans.  He was at the outdoor concert in By Jang looking forward to meeting you there too.  But alas he's kind of contest minded and wanted to do a duel to find out which one of you was best at playing the flute.

See you around March.  We gotta lotta gigs to play.  Til then, wishing you a full recovery.

Gorge's on a trip between gigs.  Said he would catch up with us in Tie Lin.  We've got another in Bande Kocc and we're opening for You know Ma.

Sorry you just had to go and see that man of yours that night.  You'd be the headliner again.

I ban @Drakefell01 for being thankful; because I know how our roots in religions got started.  The next time I am sitting with the wanderer's sitting outside the cave less afraid of the dark, bravely sitting pointing at stars in the even sky; I will think of pagan's as they too evolved from the ancient travels from far away whose dreams and schemes are known to us all.
