seventytw0
Title. I want to change some install options for the Mortal Enemies mod for SSE, namely I want to turn off the instant impact as it makes timed blocking pretty difficult. I have the latest version of both SSE and Vortex. I've tried reinstalling using the reinstall button without disabling the mod. I've tried using the reinstall button with the mod disabled. I've tried using the remove mod button to remove the mod completely both deleting archive and leaving the archive. I've tried opening the file location through Vortex and manually deleting the folder for the mod then removing the mod from vortex (It tells me to redploy the mod to have it completely and i've allowed it to and ignored it - both dont work). I've tried removing the mod completely, closing out vortex, restarting my computer, and reinstalling the mod. I've tried downloading a different version of the mod just to see if a fomod menu would pop up. Nothing pops up. Please help.
AugustaCalidia
"Mortal Enemies SE" does not have a fomod installer. Therefore there's no fomod menu.
seventytw0
"Mortal Enemies SE" does not have a fomod installer. Therefore there's no fomod menu. Are you sure? I installed it earlier today and remember it having an option for instant impact or something along those lines. It's the only mod I have that could affect the combat like that. EDIT: I just reinstalled some mods that I know for a fact have Fomod installer and it hasnt popped up for any of them.

Click "Preview file contents" on Nexus Mods. Also look at "Mortal Enemies" in your Mod Staging Folder. Do you see a fomod installer? EDIT. The Mod Staging Folder does not contain the appropriate fomod information, as Rattledagger points out below. Instead, check the Downloads folder, as Zanderat suggests below. Using "Preview file contents" remains a good test.
Rattledagger
Also look at "Mortal Enemies" in your Mod Staging Folder. Do you see a fomod installer? This last test is useless, since FOMOD installers don't normally install the FOMOD installer in the mod staging folder. It's only mods that includes fomod\info.xml but not fomod\moduleconfig.xml you'll see "fomod" installed to the mod staging folder.

I was clearly mistaken. @Zanderat Then check your download folder.Thank you for suggesting a better test than the Mod Staging Folder.

In the meantime, please note that reinstall won't work if Vortex does not have access to the archive used to install the mod, because either the archive is missing or the path to the archive has changed.
