Weird download issues

Hi, I recently decided to resub to premium so I can start on the long journey of completing lexy's mod guide. However, I started noticing that my download speeds are ridiculously slow. In MO2, I rarely reach above 1.3 megabytes a second, but in a manual download I'll be lucky to go above 600kbs a second. I then decided to test a download through NMM and Vortex, and my download speeds were perfectly fine. I made sure to check that I was using the same download server on the same files and that I was signed into my account in both MO2 and NMM, and I was. But the same issue arouse. I checked the help page and pinged the CDN server, and this is what came up.

I then ran the same test through my VPN (PIA on Washington DC) and came up with this

Weirdly enough, I started having problems with Moddb as one of the files for the mode guide is hosted on there. But I'm not having any issues anywhere else. I've also contacted my ISP and they should be sending someone out to check things but I wanted to make sure it wasn't something that could be on my end or Nexus Mods end.

A lot of people seem to have issues with the download speed on Nexus Mods's websites and nowhere else. You'll see a lot of threads here without replies of just people have the same issue.

 

We'll have to wait for some more legitimate answers to these dead threads.

Did you hear anything from your ISP? If your problems aren't exclusive to our site it's likely not on our end.

HA! I'd love a slow download! Try NO DOWNLOAD! I can't get mod manager to do it... I can't even use the manual option. I just get the window saying my download will begin in a couple of seconds and that goes on for over 10 minutes with nothing downloading! The old nexus worked much better. The mod manager won't even update any of the mods when I hit the update mod button.

can anyone help me i am having trouble downloading this one file https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/37000/?tab=posts&BH=1 for Fallout 4 i have tried to d/l it both thru vortex and manually but neither one gets past 2-3% and then i receive a network error and it stops d/ling all my other files d/led fine with no problem
