instyne49
Do yourself a favor, SSD prices are pretty reasonable right now. If you can, get a 480 or 500GB SSD and clone your C: drive to it. Messing with your appdata could crash the OS, then you lose everything. A 250GB drive can work, but why take a chance. I just "finished" recovering from a similar situation where I had 100GB set for my C: drive and ran out of space. Also limit what OneDrive can backup if you're using windows 10. Krahkataua
Whoa, those prices dipped, shoulda looked those up (I recall when mine broke not long ago a reasonable ssd was like 100/120â¬). Well, well, guess, who doesn't have to wait then :DThank you!
instyne49
I'm looking into installing Vortex on my F: drive. That SSD is only for gaming. I need to hit YouTube and see how that works. I've never had problems using NMM that way, but want to find out why Nexus makes it sound difficult. Good luck.

As HadToRegister explains in the above post, use the custom installer to install Vortex wherever you want. You can also install your Downloads folder wherever you want. You can even install your Mod Staging Folder wherever you want, so long as it's on the same drive as your game (but not in your game folder). The folk who make this sound difficult are the folk who didn't read far enough to find out that this is all there is to it.
