New games are not being added to the Vortex list as they are included in the library.

No matter what I do, I never see more than 67-68 games in my list of games showing available on Vortex. I'm assuming this is kept up to date by a file exchange from the website as they're added on there. I'm thinking I did something wrong to where the Vortex list is never complete.
It's kind of frustrating when you're trying to add a game and it's not there for you to be found. It's not showing Resident Evil 6 and I cannot figure out how to make it available.
Thanks.

Going off of the about page for Vortex, Vortex doesn't support Resident Evil 6.

Vortex only supports the games that it's either made to support, or games that people have made extensions for.

Currently, the only Resident Evil game that is supported is Resident Evil 2 (Re-make).

Nexus Mods currently hosts at least 816 games. Writing Vortex extensions for all those games would be a monumental task for the Vortex development team, which is quite small (but very talented).

The best solution to this problem is for interested gamers with programming skills to take up the slack. Vortex is open source, and so people with the skills can develop and submit extensions that will enable Vortex support for games whose mods are hosted by Nexus Mods. In fact, there are now a growing number of code-savvy people doing just that. If you have the skills, then please join the party and write an extension for Resident Evil 6.

Think about it for a moment. A Game Manager has to do all the things you would do if you installed mods manually.

1) How is the mod packaged. This is rarely uniform within a game, much less between games.

2) Does the mod include install support, like FOMODs. It has to be correctly invoked if so.

3) What is the directory structure of the game.

4) Where do mods go.

5) Is there any post-processing, like FNIS.

Well this gives you an idea. Just because a game appears, it does not mean it is automatically supported. It takes work on someone's part. Preferably someone with an interest in the game.
