Rinzler1684
So I use vortex for skyrim and its always worked fine, but recently i started using it for fallout 4 as well, seeing as some of the mods I want can only be found on nexus. I used vortex to download the mods and it installs fine, and when i go in game the mods tab recognizes it and puts it in with all the rest. However when i get to the spot the mod item is suppose to be it isnt there. The mod im trying to use is the X-02 power armor mod, and the actual power armor doesnt spawn in at its spawn point. If someone could help that would be great, ive tried manually putting the files into the fallout data folder but still no luck, its like the game knows its there but refuses to let it spawn Mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11017/

AugustaCalidia
@Rinzler1684 Given my experience with this mod, I'm wondering if your problem may be mod related and not Vortex related. Having read your post, I was intrigued by the Enclave X-02 power armor (it looks deliciously evil). I therefore downloaded it to see if I could identify your problem. I had no installation problems whatever - I installed, enabled, deployed, and sorted. I found the Red Rocket Station, after some looking. (That's not a spoiler! The mod author gives the location on the mod description page.) I found the armor (beautiful to behold) inside the station and promptly donned it and headed back to Sanctuary to show it off. However, I did experience something weird, which I try to document in the two photos below. Upon entering the building, I got the following message: When I started to load the fusion core into the armor, the core was offset to the right of the core receptacle, but still it loaded properly. Whatever the source of these glitches, they are clearly mod related and not Vortex related. In conclusion, if you have taken all the right steps to ensure that Vortex has installed the mod correctly, then perhaps you need to look to the mod itself and/or your game setup for a solution. Reading through the mod comments, it would appear the mod is not without some issues, although by no means insurmountable issues.

Because, on the Mod Page in the Comments thread, written in 2018, so... This mod is incompatible with the main file of AWKCR. If you want to use this and AWKCR, please install the Power Armor glitch patch (way at the bottom) on the AWKCR download page!
AugustaCalidia
@HadToRegister I do have AWKCR and am aware of the problems it causes for the Enclave X-02 mod. I'm also aware of the patch, which I have not installed because I don't intend to use the mod in my regular game. I installed the Enclave X-02 mod in order to determine if the OP's issue is a Vortex issue. Based on my experience and the comments thread for the mod, I have concluded that his issue probably does not arise from Vortex. My recommendation to the OP would be to install the recommended patch if he also has AWKCR. This seems to resolve many of the problems that people have reported. While I don't intend to use the Enclave power armor, I may keep the mod active just so I can have this beautifully crafted armor on display. My own FO4 game persona is that of a stealthy, agile, long range marks(wo)man who moves quietly in the shadows, strikes quickly, and then disappears. She also is capable of vicious melee combat, using those nasty Deathclaw weapons. However, all of the resulting blood spatters do tend to mess up a girl's makeup and wardrobe! That's pretty much how I play.I craft a Pipe Sniper Rifle as fast as possible when I am able to (it ends up being more powerful than most guns while leveling up), and Stealth everywhere.Along with Darker Nights, and the WesTek night vision... All the power armor I find goes on display, the only time I use it, is when I'm wearing it to bring it back to base.
