don't understand the phrasing for FNIS

For Skyrim SE:

 

I have FNIS, FNIS Creature Pack, FNIS Spells, Pretty Combat Animations, Pretty Jump animations, 1hm and Dual Wield Animations Overhaul SSE, Weapons on Back, Archery Overhaul, and XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended

 

What I don't have is any idea how they interact with Vortex or how to update the animations. Save Newer File? Use Deployed File? Revert? Huh? I want to install those animations. In a particular order. that's it. I load up the game and it doesn't work.

 

 

I also get messages like that when I clean with loot, and again, I don't understand. I want to use the cleaned file.


I also have the Bathsheba body model, but when I install it, it doesn't seem to change anything. I am also using UNP Female Body, but that is lower on the load oarder (Bath comes after). I do'nt know why it isn't wokring.

I also don't understand why FNIS exe pops up sometims and not others. I just want to update and install the animations and skins I selected.

You should probably start by clicking KNOWLEDGE BASE---------->TOOL SETUP FNIS

 

Also, you shouldn't really be getting any mention of "Save Newer File" or "Use Deployed File" or "Revert" unless you've made some physical changes to files outside of Vortex.

 

In any event you want to USE NEWER FILE.

This is a FNIS related question.

 

You should read the install instructions on the FNIS mod page for how to install animations with FNIS
