We can't really help when all we're told is "it isn't working, it's bad, make it work or give me a new application." Also, this thread should have been put in the Vortex Support Forum, but oh well. Just keep that in mind for next time, and make sure you're always putting stuff in the right area of the Forums before you click send. nicksaur Posted November 8, 2019 Author Share Posted November 8, 2019 i did put the problem in report bugs but thay seem to be ok with the thing not working .i downloaded vortex and did the mod manager thing and it looks like its downloading but when i hit install it flashes wight says it crashed and will sit on an endless install loop .with the old manager from nexus it took each mod a max of 1 minut to get a mod and activate it for this i dont know how long it takes to download because of the endless install loop .this is with all the mods i tried so ether i have the worst luck in human history for this kind of thing or the manager is just broken .after they stopped sporting nexus for this broken mess i dont think thay know what there doing because nexus not only used mods from nexus itself but was more then capable of useing mods from other sights but vortex cant even use one mod .i have about 100 on skyrim with nexus Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
HadToRegister Posted November 8, 2019 Share Posted November 8, 2019 Did you use the one-click installer or did you install vortex to a custom location?Do you use Windows Defender?If so, try opening Windows Defender and turning off Windows Defender Controlled Folder Access Are you running Vortex as an Administrator?If so, don'tDo you have your Mod Staging Folder on the same drive as your Games? nicksaur Posted November 8, 2019 Author Share Posted November 8, 2019 i installed vortex in the one click i dont even know if i can set up a folder just for that but still that shouldnt stop the program from running because it should just go into the spot thats best for the program . as for the drive yes i have them all on my pc no other thing .i just did the basic install and let the program download and with nexus that worked fine Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
