Can't make/take ScreenShots

Haven't got a clue what the regular way is to take screenshots in any game as I use MSI Afterburner for screenies. Has a function where you cn assign your own key for taking screenshots. Quite a few folk claim that MSI Afterburner can make a game crash and while I don't claim I know better, I haven't had a problem in fifteen years.

Should you want to try it out, the download button is all the way down the page I linked (which is the official Afterburner page, by the way). MSI Afterburner is intended for GPU overclocking but I keep it because of the handy tools it has like making a GPU cooling fan profile and the aformentioned Screenshot function.

In my game, with my OS (Windows 7) and my keyboard, it is hold down the shift key and press the Print Screen button. Screenshots are saved to the main Fallout3 folder.

Interesting...

Unfortunately I have Jump mapped to Shift.

I tried making Space = Jump and Shift became Zoom ?!?!

During game play, test the Win key and + G keys. IF all software is up to date, this should bring up the xbox Gaming bar. IF not? you need to install it from Microsoft's web site. This tool is designed to Overwrite all external software's and in game controls, and will in fact make movies too.

It's built in now on all windows 10 operating systems, windows 7 still not implemented so batteries not included.

Does your keyboard lay out have function keys?

If so, Funct + Print scrn keys.

On my system, the shift key is for sprinting.

You don't use the console command "TFC 1" to toggle the free camera and freeze the action?

Do you use the console command "TM" to toggle the menu/hud off/on?

No, why would I ?

And for the others:

On Win 7 with no extra progs/managers.

Why would you toggle TM? So that the HUD does not appear in the image. That is how all the good images are produced that are posted here.

Why would you toggle TFC 1? So that the action freezes and you can move the camera to get that perfect angle.
