Mod ideas I wish existed.

@Stormwolf - In one part of the quest in Depravity, it allows you to take over the Institute by banishing almost as any of the "upper management" as you want. This works great for the planned peaceful takeover - no big crater in Cambridge. (Why would you want to add to the radiation in that area?) The mod also allows you to send Preston to jail if you want. When the mod is completed, you can keep the banishing weapon to use (sensibly) on others. I wonder if it would work on the Drumlin group? I gotta try it. (And yeah, another one of Bethesda's forced quests)

 

I started using those 4 quest mods by thuggysmif (sorry if I misspelled your name, thuggy) - Fusion City Rising, Depravity, Outcasts and Remnants, and Project Valkrie - with the combination, you have an almost new main quedst with completely new outcomes. I can't say enough about these quests and I'm not sure I want to play Fallout 4 without them now.

dark - there was also a mod a while back, that would let you put NPCs in jail. It's been quite a long time since I'd seen the video about that one, but I do remember the guy doing the vid putting Mayor McDonna (or whatever his name is) and Preston in cells. :D

It gives you a choice of a few things to do with him, including killing him if you really want to. He, he I enjoyed sending Preston to jail - he just walks there (Diamond City jail) on his own, but eventually gets there.

Ok, so this is gonna sound kinda wierd, but I was just looking at mods for recruiting anybody as a follower.

 

There's a few of them.

What if somebody made a patch, using the pokeball grenades to throw a (pun?) spin on the recruiting process by capturing them in a pokeball?

And well... I was getting a lot of ummmm... crotch shots... on my targets.

I know that a lot of the newer body models have morph regions for the genitals. I was thinking, if we could make those regions as a damage location, a shot in that region might have a high percentage to cause a stun, paralysis, or fall down or even...enrage.

Then of course you've got the line about "small target"

 

I dunno if you've ever managed to cripple both arms on an enemy but watching them run around all over the place afterwards is rather amusing. I thought the same be rather humerous after a shot in the ding ding.

One of the really funny times, was when I got one in the crotch, he doubled over with his hands on his stomach and the perks thing popped up on my screen with the Hee Hee HEE! Timing was tremendously funny.

I have blown the legs off ghouls...... and they were still crawling after me....... Talk about single-minded.... But, for the most part, if I am shooting at someone, its either 'dead', or 'still fully functional'. My sniper rifle is the only non-automatic weapon I have, so, there is no firing just one round at a target...... usually it's two or three at a time. Gets their attention right quick. :D

So it's not hard at all to visualize it!

Right. With my controller, I can get off a single shot with an auto about 40-50 % of the time. Depending on how my FPS is doing. (And whether or not I'm in that Oh S mode we were talking about, lol.) Quite a few double shots tho too. I really need to take that controller apart, and see what kind of switch it has so that I can tinker with it some. Maybe be able to mod it out for better sweet spotting.

Part of the reason why I don't use autos as much as you do, is because of that controller tho. As sensitive as it's sticks are, I really CAN'T control recoil and stay on target, like I could if I was using a mouse. If I try to fight the recoil, I end up pulling my Poi too far down because of how fast the controller is. :( So when I'm in auto mode, it's always gotta be short controlled bursts.

I don't have the coordination to use a controller. They are just TOO sensitive. And if I adjust the sensitivity to where it isn't, then they are too slow. But then, I learned to play on mouse and keyboard, and was never very good with a controller to begin with..... Then having MS didn't do my any favors either. :) My coordination in my right hand is essentially non-existent. Using a mouse is just so much easier. :)
