Site exceptionally slow

It only seems like nobody is commenting on it. The complaints are all over Discord and have been since the staff broke for Christmas and the site speeds went to hell.

It's STILL impossible to get a download with mod manager, and they can't blame it on the holidays anymore.

They could, but this issue has been around since before Christmas so blaming the holidays was always an excuse to begin with :P

I have been fighting this for three days now. I get 400-500 kb/s on downloads, when they actually download. Anything downloaded through a mod manager has a 90% chance to just fail, getting a gateway timeout error. If it doesn't fail, it sits in queue for as much as five minutes until it downloads. It may have been happening earlier, but I'm only noticing it now because I'm having to replace my entire modlist due to a catastrophic PEBKAC error.

Unfortunately, I've still been having issues consistently. Errors reported through Mod Organizer 2 are 521 and mostly "Gateway Time-out"s. Thankfully my speeds have been mostly consistent.

 

Honestly, I'd rather they put their effort into keeping the servers running than adding dozens of games to their list to inflate their stats when the vast majority have little more than two or three ReShade presets.

Still slow today. Unable to download mods for weeks now. The holidays excuse is not true since this problem existed even prior to that. They could at least be honest and give us update.

Is anyone else still having this? I am experiencing very slow loading, even for notification checking.

It's been almost unusable for me for about two weeks now. I either get Gateway Timeout, or Unable to Validate my Login. I'm using MO2, never had any issues before. The only way I can download mods is to download manually and install. It's really starting to get to me, and I see no one offering any explanation or path to getting it resolved

Could it be that this new selection page with slow and premium download also affects the downloads themselves?

I currently have the feeling of playing Russian roulette as a downloader. With the difference that the pistol bullet is a working download.

And no, my internet line works perfectly and I have no packet loss when pinging.

Ah okay, it is a general issue then. I thought it might have something to do with the fact I am in The Netherlands and connection overseas.

For me downloads do not really matter ... but the loading of the whole Nexusmods pages is so slow overall. It's either a gateway timeout or a page takes over a minute to load. Indeed been going on for a couple of weeks but last few days it became much worse.
