Is there any figurines that you like that you like to share? Is there any that you want to be produced? Is there any that you want to buy but are too poor?

Had quite the collection of Metal Gear Solid action figures when they were around. Passed them down to my little cousin years ago.

Still have quite a few Final Fantasy VII and VIII action figures laying around in a box somewhere :P

I collect figures and have many, perhaps too many, of different kinds. They messily decorate parts of my room and inspire me with my writings. I will put some pictures in soon of some of them.

For now here is a not great picture of some 'fancy pencil sharpeners'.

Very cool :)

My dad was a toy collector and resaler when I was a kid. So, I had a lot of action figures...but I was never allowed to open them :P His primary product was Hot Wheels, but he always had cool super hero action figures. Stuff like Spawn, Batman, Spiderman, Superman, etc.

I got to go to some really cool conventions sometimes. Stuff was kinda expensive, but people had some of the rarest stuff. Sealed He-Man action figures, sealed Thundercats, 70s Star Wars figures in perfect condition, etc. That's where I got my Final Fantasy VII figures. They are original Japanese made ones too :D I shoulda kept them in the box, but I just couldn't haha.

I do still have some sealed Hot Wheels Treasure Hunts. One is a 1997 Dodge Viper. 10 years ago it was worth a few hundred bucks because it had different wheels from all the rest of them. I doubt it's worth that much today but it was still awesome to know I had a car worth so much :P

I actually do collect figurines, I used to have a huge set of Star Wras figures during my early teens, but discovered Doctor Who a few years ago, and currently have amassed a total of 37 different Doctor Who figures, my pride and joy is a 3' high remote controlled Dalek.

I have a decent sized WarHammer 40K collection.

To play 40K on tabletop you need an army of models, which are hand painted kits, I have a few armies, of various ages and degrees of presentation, my centerpiece being a full complement of Dark Angels I recently finished painting up. The different colouring and models you use all change what moves and stats you have. For example, playing with a Dark Angels army signifies far more than a taste for dark colours; using them is like choosing a race in an RTS, it defines what units I have access to and what rules I can exploit. The Dark Angels are resilient, power-infantry with an emphasis on ranged combat. They are complimented by a set of Blood Angels, who's more sociopathic tendancies make them melee power-infantry.

My favourite though are my Orkz. Orkz are very much the comic relief of the otherwise dark 40K universe; they are an ape-like race of green skinned savages; the Empire fights for faith, Chaos fights for dominion, the Orkz fight because it's fun and they'd be bored doing anything else. I started out with the Orkz, they're super-simple to play, just zergrushers, but there's a simple joy to that, and since the Orkz make their take from junk, and then power it with a psychic force perilously close to wishful thinking, you can "canonise" almost anything as an ork vehicle or model as long as it's got an ork model on it. This means I can make my own models, and I've slowly added to the army over time, usually by taking other race's models that I've made a mistake painting or building(that has rendered the model sufficiently damaged I can't fix it) and then "orkifying" it by painting it bright red, adding some black/white checks, flames, and the usual plethora of machineguns that green race so loves.Green 'iz best!

Not one of mine, but this is what they look like well-painted, a Fellblade tank in World Eater's Pre-Heresy colours; a very uncommon choice, and quite an expensive model chopped up and modified very heavily. Sometimes to use a faction/race/vehicle/character you have to make it yourself with bits of other kits. This FellBlade tank started out as a Baneblade, and then some enterprising soul built their own twin turbolaser cannon up top, and re-did the armour. Very very delicate work.
